hey peeps, I think your going to like this R, I picked it up close to a year ago,and it used to belong to barry hawk, then i believe chad duvall might have rode it for a bit, A lot of things have changed on it over the years, I ride this thing just about every weekend,and this winter it is going to get a proper restoration,I would like to put it back to the way it was when barry rode it.

Correct, that's the silencer mount. Didn't notice, but the picture does look like it could be a chain roller, weird.

Heres my 250r. Gonna be my winter project. Needs a new frame, new piston, wide pegs, and some black pc on the arms and swingarm. Also plan on stripping all the paint off the engine block.

heres one Im woking on (fresh build) I bought it from a guy in Arizona who built it from the ground up and titeled it as a 2009 assembled race quad ? what ever arizona its most like a 1987.
It also has a steet legal plate but when I swapped the title to oregon they denied the plat :(
so any way here it is a nice spare almost done.

Heres my baby my 1988, motor built by my friend arlan down the steet at LED., Laeger +2 front end, leager -1 swing arm, works front (I know I know but LRD set them up and they work awsome), and a LRD long travel rear shock, way to much other stuff to list.
Its a 4 poke killer my favorite quad to ride!

This isn't a quad but still a 250R. Its got a BDT build 330 all rebuilt. All new frame bolts,PC.,bearings. Everything new except the OEM plastic.

Yes, it is a TRX5 center mount. They are mostly black I believe and you would have to ask for the red to make sure you get it if you want it.

Duncan bored the cylinder 40 over
Paul turner mid-range pipe
Paul turner head 19cc dome
36mm carb with super flow and twist throttle
Pyramid reed valve
Replaced all bolts and studs, card boot, insulator, radiator hoses, renthal bars, renthal sprockets and chain

Just put this one together for my girlfriend,,, granny smith green frame, lsr +4 axle and carrier, stock a arms chromed, pro tapers, brand new maier plastics, stock bore with cool head and vf3's, esr trx5 center mount and airbox elim kit. Nothing crazy fast for here just good lookin (I think)....

Here's mine thus far. Just gave her a heart transplant and plan on doing a dirt ride before I mount up my new sand paddle setup.
The heart is a LED Performance Engines ported CPI 350 Sphynx NON PV cylinder with an LED custom tuned pipe. Using 30cc dome @190lbs, Vforce3, Keihin 41.5, 01 CR250 igntion and Slingshot lockout clutch.
I wanted a bike with a crap ton of HP while maintaining reliability. There is more HP to be had but I chose to stay on the low side.

It's got a 330 esr motor, lonestar a arms and swingarm, elka fronts and looks to be a worked stock rear with different spring/bottle.

Gonna throw some 20/18's on it and make it my mx/practice bike. Might race it when the zuk is broken. If the zuk keeps pissing me off ill race this one ;).

Might also do plastics, the ones on her look a little old and saggy.

That 330 is a good motor, I have the 310 in mine! Mine is set up for MX too, you will see it several pages back... Front plastics should be cut down for MX, save a few bucks! If you are buying, get the Fullbores!

1989 TRX250R: Bought it as a pile of JUNK, frame up restore on the old girl. All new internals on engine (265 stroker), Boyseen Reeds, FMF Exhaust, complete TRX450R rear end swap, wrinkle powdercoated frame and Denton a-arms, HLS front shocks (just added) had rebuilt Works, Douglas Shamrock beadlocks, all new Maier Plastic, Protaper bars, OMF rad scoops, PRM cattle pusher, every bearing seal nut bolt changed. Now time to beat it to death!

Yeah, i seen some pics of your bike while it was going together. Yours looks better with the arens frame though. It originality had a candyblue frame and a cr85 motor in it.

I lime it man where did you get the graphics from, I like how they made the rears to almost cover the whole rear fenders and it all looks good too.

Thanks. Graphics are from fireblade graphics. The fender graphics are cut for a 400ex. We had to trim them to get them to fit, but it wasn't too bad and they came out looking really good I think.
