Can-Am / Performance Ultimate / Troy Lee Designs' Mathieu Deroy came to the NEATV final round from his home in Canada and was on fire during the Pro class motos. Deroy came off the line in moto one and snagged the holeshot ahead of Young and Moore. From there Deroy lead the charge for seven of the eight laps until he was finally passed by both Young and Moore and was forced to settle for third place.

Mathieu Deroy went 3-2 earning second place overall in the the Pro Class |
Pro moto two featured Deroy tearing hard off the gate once again and nearly getting the holeshot that went to Young. Deroy then kept his head down and throttle pinned to stay hot on Young's rear grab bar for the remainder of the moto to come in second place. Deroy's 3-2 finish was good enough for a second place overall on the Pro podium, which he was very happy with.
"My Can-Am was running super strong all day thanks to the Performance Ultimate motor and Elka Suspension which soaked up the big jumps here. I'm pumped with the racing today, it was super fast paced and I'm happy to put two Can-Ams on the podium and happy for Travis to win the championship!", said Deroy.

Points leader Travis Moore earned the win in Pro Moto 1 which meant he only had to finish fifth or better in Pro Moto 2 to earn the NEATV-MX Pro Championship
|
Travis Moore was able to land on the podium in third place after going 1-5 which he did so while solidifying the final points of his Pro championship. Wide Open Racing / Can-Am / BCS Performance's Moore rode the ride of his life during moto one where he trailed the leader by two positions until the very last possible moments of the race where he slipped by fellow Can-Am DS450 racer Deroy and ran down Young to make a pass on the last corner and straight stretch of the race. This pass would put Moore ahead in the points chase by enough that all he had to do now was finish in fifth place or better in the second moto to secure the championship.
Moore did just what he had to do coming out of the holeshot in the last position as to not risk any bang-ups in the riskiest part of the race. Moore then took to the track as he normally would and kept his nose clean as he put a solid pass on Donnie Lovell to take over fifth place where he stayed for the remainder of the eight-lapper.

Travis Moore took it easy in Pro Moto 2 placing fifth securing the 2013 NEATV-MX Pro ATV Championship
|
"I literally raced the first moto with everything I had, I laid my heart out on the track and it paid off at the most perfect time! We went back home after the last round and dug deep and practiced harder than any other time and it helped us to pull off the win today. Thankfully I was able to stay away from major injuries this year and stay at the front of most of the races and be consistent. Kyle Sackett from WOR got us to all of these races and I held true to my promise that I'd be winning races and we are all just super pumped, it's incredible!", exclaimed Moore.
