Wide Open Racing / BCS / Can-Am's Travis Moore had his work cut out for him at MX101 which saw him battling his way through the pack and over the ever-increasingly rough track after coming off the gate near the rear of the pack.

However, with true grit and determination, Moore put his head down and raced on to finish in third place in the first moto of the day, just behind fellow Can-Am racer Mathieu Deroy.

FOX / DWT / Fly's Moore came out for moto two and was able to get a slightly better launch off the gate and again battled his way through the pack. This time he was able to slip by Deroy and take over second place before the checkered flag flew. His set of 3-2 finishes netted him a second place overall, keeping him in the points lead heading into the final round at AK Farms!

"We had a pretty rough day here, the track got really rough and the roller section only added to the factors to beat riders up during the moto. We weren't too great off the start but that's something that will be corrected and we will be coming in strong for the finale at AK Farms", said Moore.

PLX Sport / Performance Ultimate / Elka's Mathieu Deroy made another trip to the NEATV series in the US to assert his pro-grade skills upon the rest of the class and was able to come away when a third place finish on the day after going 2-3 in his Motos. Deroy got a great start off the gate to the first moto and was able to slip in behind the leaders and run in second place for the majority of the moto holding off Moore to take second on the moto.

Can-Am / Kutvek Amerika's Deroy was also enjoying his start on the second moto with a front of the pack start where he was forced to do battle to hold this position. He was able to hold onto second place for much of the race but slipped back one spot, which put him in third place for the moto and for the overall finish on the day.

"I'm very happy to be back racing in the US! We took some time and was racing in Canada and winning some races in my home country! It feels great to be back at NEATV and my Can-Am DS450 ATV was running great all day even when the track got really rough. We had a good weekend and I'm quite happy with the result! We will be back for the finale race and hoping to be on the podium again!", said Deroy.
