Pro-Am had some excitement of its own as well with Deroy and Moore sitting this class out, it allowed a couple Pro class rookies to get on the podium and show their speed.
Honda / DRT / DASA's Preston Young showed his dominance in the Pro-Am class by going 1-1 on the day and leading from start to finish for both motos. Young came out of the holeshot for moto one and had some competition in the form of Yamaha mounted Jared Gessner and Honda's Tyler Turner who lead the immediate lead. Young quickly put an end to their leads as he headed to the front where he remained for the rest of the moto to take the win.

The story was much the same for Young in the second moto coming away with the win in dominating fashion with a big lead. This overall win bumped Young into an even bigger lead in the points chase as well and this in turn sealed in his title spot as the Pro-Am NEATV champion! Young came on strong mid-season and asserted himself as a dominant force and it all paid off at the end of the year.

"I'm super happy with my championship in the Pro-Am class! We've worked super hard for it and with the help from Dave at DRT it really made it possible toward the end of the year. It feels really good to have people behind you that love racing as much as you do and to be able to come out here and compete at such a high level.", said Young.
Moto-Xperts / R&J Machines / Elka's Jayden Hickson jumped on the podium for the second round in a row at the season finale with one of his best finishes going 2-2 on the day for second place overall. Hickson came off the line for moto one with a third place spot and then dropped to fourth as Young went by him. Hickson kept his head down and was able to get by Turner and Gessner as he and Young charged to the front and battled with Hickson finishing the race in second place.
