Bluy wasn’t about to let these issues get into his way of getting on the podium for the Pro-Am class as he went 2-4 on the day to secure a third place podium finish. NAC’s Racing / FOX Athlete Bluy came out strong for the Pro-Am moto one and secured a second place ride just behind Preston Young who was on a mission to the front.

Moto two for MR Unlimited’s Bluy was a hard fought battle as #99 Mark Gehring was having his best ride of the season as well in 3rd place. Bluy settled for a fourth place finish in moto two after fending off charges from Justin Chamberland behind him and pressuring Gehring for the remainder of the race but not being able to make a pass stick.

Gehring ended up finishing out the moto in 3rd place after taking a fifth place finish in moto one for a 4th place overall finish just ahead of Jayden Hickson who was running in fifth place overall finish going 3-6 on the day. Hickson’s main race bike seized up in the Pro moto two and was forced to run a spare bike for the Pro-Am moto two but was still able to finish strong even after having an upset in the first corner. You can be sure the battle will continue to heat up in the Pro-Am ranks heading into round 4 in Pennsylvania on the 25th of this month.

The next race for these hardened racers will be held at the beautiful Hurricane Hills MX park in Clifford, PA on May 25th-26th where Travis Moore will continue to defend his points leads in both of the Pro and Pro-Am classes while the others try to make their mark on the 2013 season!
