Jason Dunkelberger would make
his second appearance of the 2010 NEATV-MX
series at round 11 at Walden and would be
able to come away with a decisive fourth
place finish in the Pro-Am class. Dunk would
put his Golden West Cycle’s Yamaha
ATV near the front and finish 6-3 on the
day after a few tough battles during his
motos.

Jason
Dunkelberger would put his Golden
West Yamaha just off the Pro-Am
podium in 4th place after he went
6-3 on the day |
It
wasn't just a fluke that Myles Santaniello
was running good in the Pro Class
as he did a top 5 in the Pro-Am
class as well! |
Myles Santaniello was able
to secure a top 5 finish for himself during
both motos and finish in fifth place overall
on the day. Santaniello has been struggling
all season and it seems he is finally getting
the quad dialed in correctly to get towards
the front of the pack.
Michael Pilotte would finish
in sixth place after going 1-11 on the day
followed by Rich Stambach 7-7, Tony Lucarelli
10-6, Vinny Mofford 8-8, and Matt Pomeroy
rounding out the top ten 9-9. Shawn Welsh
would take home eleventh place going 11-10.

In the 4-Stroke A Class it
was the Old Forge, PA native Tony Lucarelli
walking away with both moto wins on his
Nac’s Racing KTM ATV followed by Artie
Drouin going 4-3 and Mike Skalaski rounding
out the podium going 7-2 on the day. Mark
Gehring would finish in fourth place going
3-6 followed by Chris Walls going 6-4 for
the top 5.

Tony
Lucarelli grabbed a handful of throttle
& pushed his KTM 450SX ATV straight
to the front of the pack in the
4-Stroke A class two times for the
overall win! |
ATV
Innovations/Fox's Mike Skalaski
would then follow suit in the equally
as venerable Open A class as he
too would come away with back-to-back
moto wins! |
In the Open A Class, Mike
Skalaski was out for redemption as he would
claim both moto wins aboard his ATV Innovations’
Suzuki ATV. This is only Skalaski’s
third real race in the 2010 series as he
had some mechanical issues at Hemonds for
round 9. Second place would go to Justin
Alger who would have one of his best finishes
of his career going 4-3. Canada’s
Etienne Girard would take home third place
after he went 3-4 on the day followed by
Chris Walls going 6-2 on the day for fourth
place and Tommy Lombardo would round out
the top 5 after he went 2-7 on the day aboard
his DRT KTM.
A big congratulation goes
out to Team Southside Polaris' riders Paige
Whipple and Bruce Gaspardi Jr. who each
wrapped up a championship this past weekend
at Walden MX. Whipple now has her championship
trophy in the Women's Open class and teammate
Gaspardi has his in the Collegeboy class!
Do not, I repeat, do not miss
the final round of this exciting series
at Hemond's MX Park in Minot, Maine on October
9th and 10th as The Top 3 Pro and Pro-Am
riders each battle it out for the top spot
and coveted championship titles! It's anyone's
game from here on out and you can be sure
that they will all be bringing the heat
when the gates drop!
