Pro-Am moto one would get underway
and see Cody Miller put his Can-Am right up front
during the holeshot but would later be overcome
by KTM mounted Michael Pilotte as he was out for
redemption of his first Pro moto. Pilotte would
go on to take the moto win but would drop out
of podium contention with an eleventh place finish
in the second moto.
|
Cody
Miller wanted to get a holeshot for himself
& he accomplished this goal during
the first of two Pro-Am motos as he blasted
off the line in front of Nick Moser, Rich
Stambach, Tony Lucarelli, & Michael
Pilotte who would later go on for the
moto win! |
Jasmin Plante had his Yamaha dialed
in for the Pro-Am class as well as he went on
to finish 3-1 in the class for another first place
overall finish. Plante would get off to a rougher-than-usual
start as he was near the rear of the pack off
the start but would quickly work his way through
the pack to claim a third place finish.
|
|
Jasmin
Plante decided an overall win in the Pro
class wasn't good enough for him so he
would go out & take the overall win
in the Pro-Am class as well. Although
it was not a perfect 1-1 finish for the
Canadian, his 3-1 was just fine for the
overall win & move back into striking
distance of the Pro-Am points chase! |
Pro-Am moto two for Plante was much
better for him as he was able to finish in first
place which would give him first place overall
as well. Although he was not able to start the
race with a clean slate out front as he would
battle with Pilotte for the lead, he was able
to capitalize and take over first place. Plante
was on the top of the his game for round 11 and
it showed as he put on two dominating performances.
Cody Miller would come out swinging
during the first Pro-Am moto taking the holeshot
and lead for the majority of the race. Pilotte
would then put in a hard charge to the front and
pass an ailing Miller would be struggling to hold
onto his quad. Miller would still finish the moto
in a solid second place finish just moments behind
Pilotte.

BCS
Performance's Cody Miller remained in
the thick of things during his Pro-Am
performance as well with another 2nd place
overall finish. He now sits in first place
of the Pro-Am points chase as well heading
into the season finale at Hemond's MX
Park in mid-October |
Moto two would be almost an exact
replica of his first moto but this time he would
do battle with Dunk and Pilotte before settling
into his second, second place finish. His 2-2
would be good for second place overall on the
day and keep him in the points lead of the Pro-Am
class by 22 points over Jasmin Plante heading
into the final round at Hemonds MX Park.
Joe Haavisto was having a good day
as well as he was able to secure third place overall
in the Pro-Am class as he went 4-4 on the day
for third place overall. Haavisto would do battle
several times before finishing in his fourth place
position but he would play his motos smart and
strike when the iron was hot!
|
|
Motoworks/Can-Am/Elka's
Joe Haavisto put in a very consistent
run in the Pro-Am class going home with
a 4-4 set of moto finishes & 3rd place
overall to keep him in 4th place in the
points chase! |
Moto two for Haavisto was equally
as well with another fourth place finish. He now
sits in fourth place in the Pro-Am and Pro points
chases behind Pilotte by 7 points in the Pro-Am
class and 6 points in the Pro.
