Plante finished in 2nd place on the
Pro-Am podium at Capeway by going
2-2 on the day & battling with
Miller both times |
In moto two Plante was second
out of the gate and held this position all
the way the checkered flag, 8 laps later.
“ The track did not change much throughout
the whole day and remained quite fast. I stayed
with Miller for most of the races, I just
could not make any passing attempts before
time ran out,” said Jasmin afterwards.

Randy Lehr
made a great run in the Pro-Am class
landing in the 3rd spot on the podium
even tho he was racing on a completely
new machine to him provided by Team
Southside Polaris |
Randy Lehr made the trek from southern Pennsylvania
to race in only his second-ever NEATV-MX race
and come away with a third place overall finish
in the Pro-Am class. Moto one for Lehr got
off to a good start, slotting in right behind
Plante and Miller off the start and holding
this position for the entire 8-lapper race
to finish in the third spot.
Moto two for Lehr was a little more difficult
as he finished in the 6th place spot behind
Haavisto and Dunkelberger. Lehr was racing
a Polaris 450MXR ATV for Team Southside for
round 8 and was having some difficulties getting
acclimated with the machine and had some minor
mechanical difficulties as well. “I’m
happy to be up here on the podium and get
a 3rd place finish for Team Southside, these
guys are all fast, I just had some bad luck
today. If the NEATV-MX series heads back down
to Hurricane Hills I will try to make that
round as well,” said Randy after the
race.
