Ye Old Cycle Barn’s Chris Borich finished in second position. Borich fell into second on the first lap and remained there for the entire race. He spent almost all the laps chasing Fowler and getting no pressure from behind. His pit crew gave him boards letting him know the time needed to make up, but with no one to ride with gaining on Fowler was difficult.
“It was a tough one out there; this track is always brutal and you just never know what is going to happen. I had a good start and then I backed it down a little so I didn’t junk the quad. I knew what I needed to do when I came here and that was earn valuable championship points and that’s what I did,” regarded Borich from the podium.

Borich may not have earned the win he wanted, but he continues to keep the big picture in mind and earned valuable championship points. He currently has a comfortable 79 point lead over the second place of Fowler in overall points.
Reliable Tool Supply’s Chris Bithell earned his sixth podium of the season after a hard fought come back to take the final spot on the pro podium. Bithell had a rough start to the race after getting stuck behind Adam McGill in a rock section on lap one; Bithell was back in seventh and had a lot of ground to make up. He progressed, moving up one position each lap until taking over the third position on lap five. He continued there until the checkers, besting the rest of the class by over two minutes.

“I had some bad luck in the beginning, McGill got stuck early on and I got stuck behind him and then we were way back. I ended up getting my second wind mid race and just put my head down. It turned out great, the fans were amazing and the Maxxis Suzuki was flawless,” said Bithell from the podium. Bithell currently holds third in both overall and XC1 Pro class points.

BNR's Kevin Yoho earned fourth place overall on his Yamaha YFZ450R ATV

BNR’s Kevin Yoho matched his career best finish by taking fourth overall. Yoho put in one of the most exciting races of his career and looked like he had something to prove as he powered around the track. Yoho was in third position for laps one and two before dropping to fourth. He eventually fell to fifth but rallied and took back the fourth spot on lap five. Yoho remained in fourth for the rest of the seven lap race.
Yoho’s consistency and determination has the sophomore pro ranked fifth in both XC1 Pro and Overall points.
