Lonestar's Adam McGill placed second at the John Penton GNCC |
“It was a good day, I got the lead and we were just rolling that first lap. The track was fun and I just kept pushing. Borich got around me on the last lap and then some lappers got between us and I just couldn’t get to him. I really wanted to be able to make a pass, but I am happy for second. My Precision Honda was running flawless. I can’t thank my Dad enough for helping get it dialed in,” said McGill from the podium. McGill currently holds fourth place in the XC1 Pro points.

Reliable Tool Supply's Chris Bithell earned his 4th podium this season at Round 7 on his Suzuki LTR450 ATV |
Reliable Tool Supply / Maxxis Tire’s Chris Bithell crossed the checkers in third after an eventful final lap. Bithell had a good start and quickly moved into the third spot. The front three pulled away in a freight train of power and speed. Bithell remained in the third spot until lap four when Walker Fowler challenged him and got around him on a hill climb. Bithell pushed forward and the front four were bumper to bumper for much of laps four and five. On the final lap, Bithell ran into a few issues and came off of his quad twice. The first time he hit a cross run on the mulch pile and was tossed off, the second time was a bit more serious. Bithell tried to split two trees and was thrown over this bars and cut his face on his bumper. He rallied after the crashes and pushed his Suzuki to regain the third sport and round out the pro podium.
