Hoosier Tires' Harold Goodman Wins Extreme Dirt Track Opener

Goodman began ripping down the track with the #71, Nathan Wolff, close on his bumper. During the second lap, #25 Chuckie Creech worked his way into third and the trio began to quickly knock off lap after lap of the twenty lap race.

Intensity kicked up during the second half of the race; Brad Riley moved in on the trio and began to challenge Wolff for the third spot. The four way battle ensued, and Creech was able to overtake Wolff for the third spot on lap ten.

“I knew that I had to do something when Nathan (Wolff) was in front of me and Brad (Riley) was moving towards me. I picked it up and was able to move up and do what I needed to do,” regarded Creech of his race.

On the eleventh lap, an accident occurred as a racer hit a ditch and was sent flipping. The accident brought the race to a halt and once the racer was helped, a staggered restart was held to get things moving again. After the restart, Goodman maintained his lead while Creech, Wolff and Riley ran a tight battle behind him. Riley was able to take the third spot on lap fourteen and remain there, behind Creech, until the checkers.
“It worked out the way I like it, holeshot and lead twenty laps,” explained Goodman from the pro podium.

Nathan Wolff crossed the finish in fourth after his exciting battled with Creech and Riley. Brian Ace made a late charge to take the fifth spot from Daryl Rath. The two charged hard at the end, but Ace was able to edge out Rath who finished sixth.

#038 Michael Coburn placed seventh on his Walsh Race Craft Honda 450R ATV

The Walsh Race Craft's #038, Michael Coburn finished seventh and was followed by Michael Houghton. Kristopher Bures and Jordan Rummage rounded out the top ten.
