Hoosier Tires' Harold Goodman Wins Extreme Dirt Track Opener
::Continued::

PRO-AM ATV MAIN RACE REPORT

The pro-am race offered plenty of excitement; Goodman grabbed the holeshot and put himself into the lead for the first ten laps. The other racers were close as Goodman charged on, but he did a good job of fending off any challengers. His luck changed a bit midway through the race when he bobbled on an inside option line. He recovered quickly, but his mistake left just enough time for Nathan Wolff to make a pass on him.

#71 Nathan Wolff earned his first EDT Pro-Am win at Round 1
“Nathan (Wolff) was flying and he had a little bit for me in that split line. I knew he was there, but didn’t know he was right there. He made a clean pass and rode a great race; it was a really good time,” regarded Goodman of the pass that Wolff was able to make.

Wolff kept the lead, with Goodman right on his bumper for the remainder of the laps. The duo crossed the finish after fifteen exciting laps of racing. Brian Ace rounded out the top three after a trying weekend of racing.

Brian Ace - Honda TRX450R ATV
Despite blowing his engine during practice on Friday, Brian Ace was able to race Saturday & placed third in the Pro-Am Class on his Honda 450R ATV

Ace blew his engine up during practice on Friday evening and along with his pit crew scrambled to get his ATV in top shape for the main races. He had got off to a good start and rode smart by capitalizing on other racers mistake to take over positions. Ace eventually worked his way in third and secured the final podium spot.

“I really have to give it up to my pit crew. We had to work so hard to get this thing going again and it’s amazing to have people like that in your corner. The race went great and everything worked out for the best,” said Ace.
