i unsubscribed from this thread because it was making me all like :( , but now i feel the need to utilize it.

i'm getting so close to a house (first time starter house), and my stupid cobalt's clutch starts slipping. i don't know if i want to attempt it myself with winter coming up and not having access to a lift. if i do it myself it'll save ~$1000. of course i just bought new wheels for my trans am and the tires are going to be about $1200.. planned on buying them this spring since it's going into storage anyway. oh yea, student loans start in a month @$500/ month.

just unfortunate timing with the cobalt and it's going to knock me back a little bit from home buying.

been a while since i hit this thread...

that everything i plan for that i cant do anything about usually gets all f-ed up somehow.

what a constant let down... i get so irritated and disappointed at the same time that its un-real.

i had a great plan to what i wanted to do with the next couple years to get my life started on the right foot. a good timeline for how to go about doing it... it all went down the tube around me for relying on anyone that was supposed to help with the plan. got totally screwed over...

im glad i can rely on myself to make sure that i get things handled how i need to. if it involves others, its usually screwed over somehow. time to start over once again and try making a go of it some other way.

I'm sad and mad. Watching ABC they had parents saying the teachers were hero's..."They took the kids an put them in a corner of the room and kept them safe..." Sorry but how did they keep the kids safe!!!!!!! Another reporter talked to a sweet red head girl and she said she heard bad noises....Reporter asked what happened then?....she said the teacher made us go to our desks and she started reading to us.......Reporter asked what happened then?......I heard more bad noises.....Reporter said, you heard more bad noises while the teacher was reading to you?........yes.
Well since the teachers can't carry guns guess the best thing to keep kids safe is to put them in a corner during a shooting rampage and read to them....by the way, the teacher read the Nut Cracker. Glad Obama said this can't continue....guess he means teachers will be allowed to carry......?

I can see why you say that. I'm sure if I had guns when it was legal in my country to have them then I would be pi55ed if they took them off me.

BUT

I live in a country where it is illegal to own any kind of firearm unless you can prove you own substantial property IE FARMER or you are a registered member of a gun club. The regulations and restrictions on those who can own firearms are extremely strict.

I'm glad I live in a country where firearms are illegal.

And correct me if I am wrong but wasn't your right to arms written 300 years ago when there was no standing army and it was necessary to defend the country? You are not defending your country!

Actually there was a standing Army at the time, it kicked the crap out of the British tyrants that later became wussies. The 2nd Ammendement is not for Army's but for the common man to own and bear arms to protect himself, and or to rise up against the government should it try to inslave them and turn them into sheep and slaves.....Obviously you know nothing of this country or its Constitution or History.....hows it feel to be stripped of your rights.....and being just a sheep. You guys really stand up for yourselves over there don't you!!!!!

bump it up too since im on tonight.

been a rough couple of weeks

busy at work, trying to do a better job of separating work and home life. its not going real well. im trying to make it easier though, i started taking hour lunches again and not getting there early.

want to try to move to the next step with my lady friend i have been riding with, just not sure if it will go well enough to try. she has had alot of stuff going on in her life, im not sure if she is ready to attempt a relationship yet. at least ill get to take her riding one more time this weekend.

been living pay check to pay check lately with all my loans for school that cost me alot more a month than i could have ever imagined. im going to turn that around with my tax refund and my bonus check that ill be getting from work.

hoping for a good weekend to either move a bit closer to a relationship or something. ive been talking to her consistently for 2 months now and this will be my 4th riding trip ive taken her on.

thanks dude, i go from one side to the other every time i think about it. do i ask or not haha gonna have to play it how the cards roll on saturday.

sounds like we are in the same boat on the toys... no money to fix them and cant ride the 400.

the 400 is going to need a battery at the very least, most likely a solenoid and a starter to go with the battery. :( havent got the battery hooked up again to see if it is holding a charge to get it to turn over.

if it doesnt click, ill have to try to jump the solenoid and see if it will at least turn over. i ran it dead trying to get it started and didnt have any tools at my new house to get it charged. I think the battery froze :(

havent checked into it enough to see the damages yet but ill definitely be replacing the solenoid and battery for sure.

ah the 400 wont be a big deal, ill get it all ready to go again this spring. im just not sure if the solenoid is messed up or what the issue is. i havent checked into it at all yet to diagnose.

idk, im going to leave it alone for a while and see how it plays out before i try to do anything.

at least everything is washed and its time to relax for the next few hours.

400 definitely needs a battery for sure. i hooked it all back up today and there was nothing.

I just happy that the battery and solenoid are the two things that i need to change for the whole summer. it will be nice to not have to do a ton of maintenance on stuff this year finally. the sleds need slides and carbides, thats it there. :D awesome!

you just have to look around here to find deals. these idiots think everything is worth what they paid for it 10 years ago because it has a slip on and worn out tires.

got rid of the gf again last night. I should have known she would be right back at her old crap in a couple of weeks haha.

time to start riding and fishing baby!!

youll sell it soon enough!

she was especially nuts, that was her 3rd strike. 2 of which were too many to begin with. live, learn, and react accordingly for future reference.

as a result of her not being around any more, it will be a great great summer once again!!!

Gotta send my cylinder to gtthunder here in the beginning of summer so I can get the hd studs. Either snapped or pulled the threads out of the one head stud on the corner of the engine so it leaks oil around the corner of the head and corner of the cylinder gasket. :ermm:

Seated to go to state in a couple weeks for running.lbeen running great even with my back problems...think I broke my foot today. Think that's shooting my sophomore state chance. Hard to take after working this hard and through so much back pain.

i wanted to do that harescramble at pyma real bad but the 400 was out of commission at the time i dont even remember what it was. with this weather finally nice here ive been doing alot of yard work and stuff outside. ive also been shooting my bow alot and doing alot of turkey hunting and focusing on grades. havnt payed a whole lot of attention to the 400 lately because a 450 may be in my near future. got straight A's which isnt too common for me (possibly key to my 450) and ive applied at a couple different places so i can pick up a job and start buyin more parts and savin for a truck. thats whatsup with me since i havnt been on in forever haha

Went riding with a couple of my best friends that I graduated high school with last night. It was the first time we had all rode together in a good 4 or 5 years. On our way home a cop decided to chase us so we all scattered, I slammed the brakes and bolted through a field and lost him, 2 of my other buddies just stopped because they were on slower quads, and my other 2 buddies took off like bats outta hell because they were on 700s. Well they tried jumping off the road we were on to go back to some trails we ride to lose the cops. My friend that was in front was on a 700 raptor, so he took the sharp turn onto the trail pretty good, but my other friend was on a stock 700xx that sits up high and it's really skinny so it's top heavy. He tried taking the turn too fast and didn't make it. He flew threw the turn and landed head first into a ditch and broke his neck and landed face down in a creek with water in it. I pretty much spent 80% of my childhood and teen years hanging out with those guys and now one of them is gone just like that.

Be safe when you're riding out there guys, **** can change in an instant.

Yea, he passed. They haven't said anything yet but he had to have died instantly. Him and my other friend had them pegged in 5th and then slammed on the brakes and tried to make the turn so they were prolly going 50 or 60 taking a hair pin turn.

I forgot to mention this was at night too, so you couldn't really judge distance that well, especially at that kinda speed. Thanks for the support guys, it's been tough but I'm managing to keep my mind off of it at work and think of all the good times we had.
