wish i would have got an offer over xmas break...

hopefully i can get the job, it sure would be nice to have something solid to finish to instead of doing the whole interview and career fair stuff this spring.

One of my friends has been battling depression for a long time now but lately he's been talking more about commiting suicide. Usually i talk to him everyday and text him to make sure he's doing alright, but he hasnt replied to my texts or anyone elses so im just praying that he didint. I need to move to a sunnier place.

yeah bro, the trip to Afghanistan won't help much either. We shall see how it all turns out, my friends mom committed suicide awhile back, it was sudden, no signs, she didn't suffer from depression that we know of, we think it was a medicine she was taking for an illness. Him and I showed up at his house and found her hanging in her bedroom by a CAT 5 Cable.

My mom... thats what bothers me... Its like she thinks the whole world is out to make her life miserable... I haven't lived at home for years now... But i'm home until my deployment because the lease on my apartment was up and i didn't wanna renew... It all comes down to myself and my siblings not doing anything to help her.... She has been on the phone all damn day, we cleaned the enitre house top to bottom... I've played maid for 2 weeks pretty much making every meal, and being babysitter/ errand boy... Hell i even picked up her sick friends kids from school, which in turn ended up giving me the stomach flu... I had a foot surgery a week ago... Then she *****e$ about me not doing anything... So aggravating... I'm looking for somplace to move now, i've had enough of this crap.

Lack of funds to fix it... My dad lost his job, we are barely getting by. I have to help out my parents out by giving them most of my paycheck (im not mad about that.. i dont mind helping them out)

I cant afford to go get my license because i have to pay $2000 a year in car insurance for a 99 mustang thats worth about $3000, jese o pete insurance companies rip you a new one and dont even care.

My ROX Billet Handguard mounts are out of stock everywhere until January 27th. Can't use the ATV mount kit with my pro-tapers, so I had to use one of the sled mounts, which means the sled has to go without until I get the other ones. Doesn't matter anyways everytime we get snow we get rain and it melts. it's like -10f outside and wednesday it's gonna be 45 and rain :( :( :(

she may not be ready to move on..

id lay off for awhile...try not to be up her *** so much. you can usually tell if somoen doesnt want to talk..if she seems short, just let it go till next time..

i lifted chest and tris this evening...and was doing push ups, and was being a douche and flexing my tris in the mirror, and got a muscle spasm and my tri locked up and i thought i ****ed it up!!!!!

tore the lower right meniscus in my knee and had to get it repaired along with a cleanup of my knee in general.

:( will never be 100% again unless i start doing some exercising every day and really build it back up correctly.

yeah, 99% of the time it is good to go, i ride the atvs and sleds and such with no issues after a hard day of riding.

usually it doesnt bother me snowboarding either so its not really too bad any more.

i would like to start working out regularly though, its def good for you. it makes you feel good daily too. i was walking a bit this fall and doing situps along with pushups, it was a good pick me up thats for sure.

i could lose the 10 lbs i want to get rid of too. haha

just not enough time in a day to go to class, do hw, ride, and work out it seems. we have a full facility to go use whenever we want. it is much easier to sit on the couch instead of going back to school again at night haha.

We lost 75% of your snow here yesterday due to rain and 43 degree weather. :(

We built a snowpark in the city that's almost melted too, it was nice yesterday shredding in a t-shirt though

Schools going ok so far, no tests or papers..yet.

Im bummed I probably have another 1-2 years of school left. 3 classes is manageable money wise, 4 they double the price but hey you can take as many as you want for that cost! So lets see..take 5-6 classes and have NO time to earn cash in order to drive there and eventually go bust-or work 3 days a week and take 3 classes for half the cost..

Oh and Im praying my job doesnt get cut, problems with company and employees-it aint looking good.

thanks guys! i've never written so many papers in my life! walking in the graduation ceremony is definitely a nice feeling though, and i'd imagine a hooding ceremony will be fun as well. this explains why my posting on here has made a sharp decline haha. its fun running my own full production lab/machine shop for my department though!

that's crazy that the price doubles for taking more than three classes. you'd think it would drop slightly if anything, like buying something in bulk. anyway, keep your head up and hope for the best. everything always works out in the end. i have enough problems working my 20 hour per week job and keeping up with classes, but where there's a will there's a way.

What they do is say each class is 3k. So you take 3 or less its per diem. But when you take 4 or more they just charge you a flatrate fee of 14k instead (btw the class prices are actually less). So great if you want to take 5-6 classes or more, not so great if you just want to take 4. I coulda squeezed in another class easily (taking 3 now) but I cant due to the cost.

Its a smaller private college, I coulda gone to Rutgers U and it would have easily been 6k/year but I despise that place..so I pay double that. Thanks to financial aid and grants I actually pay less, but still its alot. To stay on campus its 35k a year...

have class tomorrow... at least one is cancelled for our make up class for an evening exam we have coming up. it should have been wednesday so i could have left early instead of staying till 4, then driving home.

its going to cost me another 100 bucks to drive home again... that wasnt very thought out on my part, since i just drove home last weekend.

i think im leaving one of the sleds home when i come back up again. im tired of towing both of them behind my pos explorer that can hardly get out of its own tracks let alone pull a three place floe trailer with 2 sleds on it.

my lady friend wasnt real talkative tonight, though she was quite talkative last night, which was a good thing :D

loaded the sleds up to head south again on wednesday for a couple of hard days in my garage working on my sled to get my extensions done and a few other odds and ends changed for my trip.

at least its a short week, i seem to have quite a bit to do again though as always. haha thats what i get for not doing any hw yesterday, friday, and thursday.

not sure if i want to go snowboarding tomorrow night for gym or not, im thinking of skipping to work on my other stuff. ill have to see how much i get done on everything tomorrow before i go. im sure the hill wont be that good, it has been 40 here for 4 days now and we have lost alot of snow again.

the trails blow... theres no powder... theres not a whole lot of snow for the sculptures for winter carnival either...

gonna be a long few days till i can get home and wrench. i could go on and on tonight... just not feeling the whole excited deal tonight unlike last night. I was quite happy about talking to my friend for quite some time last night.

anyway heres my idea- buy her a necklace and take a video of me with it, saying "will you be my valentine?" and send her the video. later ask for her address and send it if she says yes.

idk though... that was the best i have thought of so far and think it would be nice.

thought of sending some flowers too but the address thing causes a problem there too. thats not as original as the necklace and video either.

i did think about asking her sister if she could get it for me but im running out of time for that.

lets be honest here, buying a girl a necklace of anysort is something you do when you to have spent an ammount of commited time with each other...not texting back and forth for a couple of months......thats a showing of affection that i doubt neither of you have shown each other....from the sounds of it, you've never even kissed this girl, or hardly seen her in person, right?

Well my 400ex wont f***ing start!!!! Cleaned the main and pilot and it still wont work. Going out tonight to check on the needle and see if the clip didn't fall off, if that's not the case then I don't know what the hell is wrong with it. The only other thing I can think of is that since the main is way too rich it screwed all my plugs, it did something like this before so I popped in the other plug and away it went, but it's been long enough I don't remember exactly what it did just that I needed to swap the plug.

Thanks CJM that's what I did and it worked, problem is I only had used plugs, the first thing I did was put a different one in not realizing it was completely screwed over I just took it out cuz it was fouled and I was gonna clean it off. Then I found another one and tried it after cleaning the jets out and it works fine.

i rode today instead of really studying, though it wouldnt have mattered. i know how to do the models so thats not a big deal.

i should have approached it a bit differently but even though it still wouldnt have worked well for what i wanted to do. haha

we get to learn the technique i needed tomorrow in class. hahaha

it came out alright though anyway so im not worried about it. i got one done correctly for sure, the other was the model and is either completely correct or has a few minor mistakes in it.

im just irritated that it took me 2.5 hours to do the two parts. it shouldnt have taken me that long.

ill be happy with a B on either of them this week. D's get degrees now baby. haha

dude, im a mech engineer...well my actual title now is associate design engineer...but anywho..

i put tons of effort in my first two years of college, and then i turned 21 and and i was like ehhh **** it...and id go out and get wrecked the night before tests or when stuff was due...i mean i would study and be prepared, but id still go out and rage like an animal...

..i graduated with a 3.3 from psu in mech engineering....i got a fantastic job..

Bought an 02 426ex last weekend and one of the bolts for the oil filter cover is stripped out inside the case. Bolt is fine but the threads in the case are gone so I need to find someone to helicoil that for me so I can get this POS working. Float in carb is cracked too and there's a ton of small pieces missing. Going to take a while to get it back together like it's supposed to be.

Wish I would have noticed that oil bolt issue before I bought it ;/

Friday was boring, I coulda stayed till 4 but I went home at 3 cause it was slow. Tonight I came in early cause my boss told me it was nuts. As usual I missed all the action of course and it was slow.

That was not unlawful use of his fire arm. He was threatened bodily harm at the side of his personal vehicle. That is technically his personal space. The only thing that he might have done wrong is to not have called the police himself to report the incident. In MI if something like that goes down it is part of the concealed carry permit to report the incident to the police. I also do not believe it was a crime of passion. He was in fact threatened. The other thing to keep in mind if you are the report the incident to the police you are able to tell your side before they make you to be a pyscho.

snowboarded on mont ripley for the last time of the season and the last time for quite a long time im sure.

snowmobiling is pretty much done too, maybe a few more back country riding days but trail riding is done unless we get a bunch more snow. my last hurra will be heading to idaho for the first week of march to ride for spring break.

at least the 250r and 400 are waiting for me, they will be a nice transition from riding the sled. ill miss snowmobiling until next year just as i did this year. something about it just soothes me different than riding the 400. the 400 is a different feeling that im sure all of you feel too when riding. thats why we do it, for the things it helps us get through.

tomorrow is the career fair at school, im going to head up to check out the offerings even though i have an offer in the works at my current place i work at. i have a full time job there if i want it.

im 99% sure ill be taking it, its close to home and the people are great. even if the pay isnt the best, it will be nice to be back home for a while. as much as i want to say im ready to get out of there and find a good job somewhere else if theres an opportunity, im not. after 5 years of being gone for the majority of the year, it sucks to be gone. im sure ill have different thoughts about that when i get back down there and living at home to make some money and get things in order. i could find an appt or something but want to start paying off my loans and consolidate my vehicles to 1 new one and maybe keep one of the 2 that i have now as a daily driver.

im not real good with change, but ill have to make it through. im a creature of repetition and habits. thats my comfort zone.

got a 63 on my controls test from last week too... not terrible but not good either. D is for degree so i guess its all good. the rest of my grades are good in there so im not worried about it.

i am looking forward to getting finished up and out of school though. i have lots of big plans to work toward and be motivated for, plenty to look forward to. :D

i have my fingers crossed that i will be with my valentine this spring. absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder in any case. i have good faith that it will turn out great though.


sorry, sort of a rough night tonight. everything is ending faster than i wanted for the season and has me bummed out about not having time to enjoy my favorite things much longer.

Have a riding trip planned for 1st weekend of March so it doesn't leave much time to get it fixed.

Just started the swap out of motors on Ethans quad, its crazy how many different case sides there are for the same exact motor... I've got 4 Lifan motors, and all 4 have a completely different starter side case. Now the starter adaptor plate that I was planning on using as a backup for the kicker/ shifter motor is out, and its kick start only for him... He better get strong quick. LOL

After watching Act of Valor I watched a bunch of kids talk about how people don't actually sacrifice themselves for others... and how everything they showed was fake. As an MP i'm on the SRT force and I know without a doubt, that while clearing those rooms any of use would do that. We had a training scenario where a Instructor dropped a dummy frag into the room, and we dog piled onto with out thought. Its a first response, so **** those kids and people who don't think that stuff happens.

Yeah, its definitely a PITA. Considering goin into Law Enforcement or similar field just because it's one of the few that I'm qual'd for and can provide a good living (keep in mind, 50K a year here is good money).

i adjusted the valves and cleaned/jetted the carbs for the cold before I went out and it ran perfect. traction was a huge issue and i broke 2 straps off my new oneil boot when I fell on that stupid log:grr:

Took the new/ used FX4 down to Venice (about an hour drive one way) and seems like she's due for a time up.... Yeah, Ford forums show that the 5.4 is a COMPLETE PITA for plug changes! I can do a complete tune up on my Burb in 30 minutes, but after reading up on the Ford, I don't think its a really goof idea to even pull out the tools.... This is the first time ever that I've been scared to work on any vehicle I've ever had.

Shoulda bought a Chevy, wouldn't need to do plug changes every 20 miles. And it would only take 10 minutes!!

Its not ignorant, its true... I've owned both a Ford F-150 and a Chevy Silverado 1500 I can tell you that the Silverado didn't have tranny issues, could pull way more and had much better brakes for pulling heavy loads. It required much less maintenance and was 10x more reliable. While I had the F-150 I replaced..... Headers x1, plugs 3x, plug wires 2x, tranny 2x, head gaskets x1, cam bearings x1, water pump x1, pads and rotors x2... While I owned the Chevy, plugs and wires x1, regular oil changes, and pads and rotors once. I drove both of them nearly 100,000 miles they were both just basic versions and were both 2003 models.

I've still got my old GMC, 375,000 miles on it, just a 350, and I'll tell ya, ever since I bought it, I have to change the plugs every 30k. The GM interior looks generic, and it rides like crap compared to the Ford. The Ford has a locker, while the GMC is open diff front and rear, I'm perfectly fine with the Ford, and my Burb will most likely still have 375k on it in 3 years when the Ford is paid off LOL

In my state as a legal gun toting citizen if at any time for any reason I feel my well being or the people i care abouts well being is in peril I have the right to use lethal force. With that being said, my motivation to act right for my son is way stronger than any emotion. However I am not gonna fight you or anyone else you hit me I shoot you simple as that. I fight in a cage and nowhere else. It took me a long time to realize the consequences are not worth it as far as running my mouth and fighting. I was out of line for what I said no doubt, but unless you have a baby mama you cant understand. However I dont regret brandishing my weapon and ending a situation guranteed to end in blood in about 5 seconds.

Been to long since I posted that, so I don't remember the exact story behind what I said. I might have been on my drunk post rampage I did a few weeks ago, ha ha!! All my post were poorly spelled out and had horrible grammar... Anyway, it sounds like you had the right to draw the weapon, but because you were the one being mouthy, thats were the mistake was made. Not sure what state your from, but in MO we have the same law. If you feel at any time that your life is threatened, as in if somebody has the INTENTION to kill you, then you can draw your gun as long as you don't shoot them in the back.
