Nick DeNoble made the jump to the AMA Pro ATV
Motocross Class this year after a successful
season in the Pro-am Production ranks, taking
second in the points chase. DeNoble also made
his rounds in both the WPSA and the AMA ATV
Motocross Nationals, winning the Production
A National Championship in 2007 while also taking
second in the Pro-Am class.
DeNoble, who has been racing since 2004, has
high goals for himself as a racer and began
stepping up his training in preparation for
the 2009 season. Nick also enlisted the help
of former National champ, Joe Byrd, who he trained
under for a while. “I learned a lot from
Joe and he really helped me a lot,” said
Nick.
The eager racer has also been training under
another ATV motocross icon and fellow Wisconsin
native. “This year I’ve been training
a lot with Doug Gust. He’s been great
to work with and has also really helped me
out a lot,” said DeNoble.

In
2007, Nick DeNoble won the Production
A Champion with 7 wins & finished
2nd in the Pro-Am Class with 6 Podium
finishes |
In
2008, Nick DeNoble focused his attention
on the Pro-Am Production Class where
he claimed 4 Podium finishes & finished
2nd in points |
Even with all the training, Nick still admits
there’s really nothing that can prepare
you for your first time out on the track in
the AMA Pro ATV MX class. “I came out
in second in one moto, but then I got nervous.
It’s really a big step moving up to
the Pro class from Pro-am the competition
is a lot more intense,” said Nick in
regards to his performance at Glen Helen.

Nick
DeNoble ran strong early on in both
Pro Motos at Glen Helen, and dropped
back late in the race, so once he able
to maintain the speed for the entire
20 minutes plus 2 laps, Nick will be
a contender for a top 5 finish

Nick is still racing as a privateer this
season, but with the help of his sponsors,
Joe DeNoble sewer and Water, Pro Armor and
Custom Axis, to name just a few, Nick plans
to work hard and keep improving to achieve
his goal of landing in the top five at season’s
end.
