Mitch Reynolds has not only made the switch
to the AMA Pro ATV class, but has also made
a change from flat tracking to motocross. Mitch
is a veteran racer of the Extreme Dirt Track
series where in 2006; he won his first EDT National
Championship in the Pro-am Unlimited class.
“That’s been my most memorable moment
in racing so far,” said Reynolds, who
is now riding for the Polaris/Rath Racing team
for the 2009 season aboard the new Polaris Outlaw
450 MXR.
Although Reynolds has had good success in
the Extreme Dirt Track series, taking a top
ten in the Pro ATV Points race in 2008, Mitch
plans to focus all of his efforts on Motocross
this year. “I really like both, but
I think it would be best for me to concentrate
on one series and give it everything I have,”
he stated.

Reynolds and the Polaris Rath team are still
working on getting their new Polaris Outlaw
450MXR dialed in, but Reynolds looks forward
to it. “The first round was really fun,
even though we had a few roadblocks along
the way, but I’m really looking forward
to this year,” said Reynolds who is
happy to have the support of the team.

Mitch has set some good goals for his first
year in the AMA ATV Motocross Championships.
“I plan to improve race to race and
hopefully end my season somewhere in the top
ten,” he stated. Mitch’s dedication
to the sport and good work ethic will surely
help him to achieve his goals.
