The
Polaris RZR 4 features Fox Podium X
2.0 Piggyback Reservoir Shocks with
12" of travel all around, which
provide for an extremely smooth ride
for OEM equipped shocks, and they are
very capable of absorbing some big hits
on the trails |
We did feel however, that under
more aggressive riding conditions, the suspension
should be a little stiffer in order to make
it feel more stable in cornering. “I don’t
think I’d take it out on the track too
often because it’s really not made for
that, but it did fly nice and it handled surprisingly
well for a larger machine,” Baron added.

The
760cc High Output (H.O.) engine has
plunty of power to haul your friends
& family down the trail or out in
the sand dunes as we found out at the
Sand Hollow sand dunes in Utah during
our testing |
Although we were testing a unit
that was not equipped with power steering, we
felt that the steering was still quite responsive
and easy; however, we do like the option of
power steering and would recommend the Polaris
RZR 4 800 EPS simply for its ease of use and
comfort factor.
One of the main selling points
of the RZR 4 800 series is its ability to accommodate
four people, which was really a big selling
point with Baron. “I had a great time
with this machine. I could go out and take three
of my buddies with me and it just seemed a lot
more fun with more people. Also, I have a family
and it was really great to be able to take my
wife and the kids out all at the same time instead
of having to take turns like I would with a
two-seater. They all really liked it and it
has been a blast for all of us. The kids are
always begging us to take them for a ride around
our property.”

The Polaris RZR 4 proved to be
very stable with its extended wheel
base, it goes through rough whooped
out sections with ease, and it corners
great at high speed |
