WORCS Racing - Round 4 - Pro ATV Race Report
Beau Baron Wins - David Haagsma & Dillon Zimmerman Round Out Pro ATV Podium

Hurricane, UT- The Rocky Mountain ATV MC WORCS Series kicked off round four at an all new venue in Hurricane, Utah. The race took place at the scenic Sand Hollow OHV riding area. The new venue offered a track that was over 13 miles long with deep sandy terrain for the racers to battle through. H&M Motorsports Beau Baron claimed his third win in a row. Maxxis Tire’s David Haagsma and JRi Shocks Dillon Zimmerman rounded out the pro podium.

A silent auction & raffle for a Honda dirt bike was held at WORCS Sand Hollow Round 4 to benefit Josh Frederick. There was over $10, 000 raised to help former WORCS Pro ATV Champion Josh Frederick & his family. Many items were donated including products from Leatt, ITP, Yoshimura, Fasst Co., Pro Motorsports, Lonestar, GPS, and many more. There was also many signed jerseys auction off from David Haagsma, Beau Baron, Chad Reed, Dustin Nelson, Joel Hetrick, Colten Moore, and many other racers. There will also be another fundraiser at WORCS Round 5 in Taft, California

Aside from the exciting racing action that look place over the weekend, the WORCS racing family joined together and held a benefit for Josh Frederick. Frederick is currently in Colorado undergoing rehabilitation where he will stay for the next two months. The benefit consisted of a silent auction that featured various racer jerseys and products from sponsors. The benefit raised over $10,000 to help the Frederick family.

Another National Park that is located near Sand Hollow OHV Area is Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce Canyon is known for its unique rock formations known as hoodoos

The sun was shining and the skies were clear Sunday morning for the Pro races; there was a last minute decision to have the pro ATV main combined with the pro motorcycle race. Some were wary of the change, but the start took place at 9:30AM and the racing turned out to be epic with so many talented racers on the track at the same time.

Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area offers over 16,000 acres of off-road riding that consists of various terrains making riding at Sand Hollow State Park very interesting

The Sand Hollow State Park featured a mix of red rock and red sand against the picturesque blue waters of the Sand Hollow reservoir.  The track had technical rock sections and very deep whoops, which kept racers attention throughout the race that lasted for over two hours for many racers.
