::Continued::
A record 27 cars signed up for the Spec class,
but the first lap of seeding took its first victim.
#881 Mike Johnson went end over end on the infield
double, completely destroying his car for the
remainder of the weekend.

his RZR over an infield double |
Track designer/builder Dana Creech set the fastest
lap, followed by Walker Evans Racing's RJ Anderson,
Mitch Guthrie Jr., Colten Moore, and Digger Doug
Gust. 26 entries seeded for the SPEC class competition,
with only 16 racers making the main events. Terracross
runs heat races and an LCQ to decide which ten
racers would be viewing the main event from the
sidelines.

Carnage was the name of the game, and those who
avoided it while still putting down consistently
fast laps were rewarded with a spot in the main
event. Many top seeded racers were left to battle
for the top two spots in an LCQ due to crash induced
mechanical failures in their Heat races. With
16 of the top racers sorted out for Final #1,
it would bring more carnage and excitement early
in the main event.

A super smooth RJ Anderson opened up a lead
right out of the gate, but it was short lived
as another driver T-boned him in a hair pin turn.
With a broken steering rack, RJ managed to stuff
him into a k-rail as well, ending the first main
for both drivers.

Anderson got off to the early lead in the

his race with a DNF |
