2014 Terracross Championship
SxS Pro-Am Racing
::Continued::
Terracross also fielded a separate pro payback
class in which drivers could drive their own race-modified
UTV's. This class featured a similar format with
heat races and a main for both rounds one and
two. 17 Racers showed up for round one with many
of them driving straight in from the LUCAS races
in Lake Elsinore the previous day. Blingstar's
Nick Nelson drove the Glazzkraft built Polaris
RZR XP1000 to a win in heat one, and Nic Granlund
won heat two giving them access to the front row
for the first main event. After an exciting battle,

for Round One |
Blingstar/Glazzkraft's Nick Nelson was able
to grab the lead and hold it down for a win. Nic
Granlund was a close second and the rest of the
class was almost 40 seconds behind.
The second round was pretty similar with Nelson
and Granlund getting the pole position. This time
ten racers battled it out and Nic Granlund pulled
off the win with Nelson close on his heels. WORCS
racer Nick Thompson kept the pressure on all the
way to the finish, and the three Nick's finished
within 3 seconds of each other. Pro Armor's Tommy
Scranton finished 4th after winning the previous
day at the LUCAS races. Freestyler Jimmy Fitzpatrick
was fifth, Mark Partridge 6th, and Brian Carr
was seventh. IMG's James Hill and John Pacheco
both had good runs but ended up with DNF's as
did the 799 of Dan Worley.
