Cody Miller, who was feeling the effects of
his leg injury, knew he had to have solid finishes
in the Pro-am class to take the championship.
Miller gave it his all and was able to put in
a solid run, taking 3-4 finishes for fourth
overall and the Pro-am points championship.

“The points battle was a little tighter
in this class, so I knew I had to have a decent
finish to be able to get the championship, so
I just tried to stay focused and I was able
to take it by seven points,” stated Miller,
who will be returning to the NEATVMX series
aboard his BCS Performance backed Can-Am next
season to defend his championships.

Mark Gehring made an impressive Pro-Am
debut at hemond's with a Top 5 overall

Can-Am mounted Mark Gehring made his Pro-am
debut and put in two solid motos. Gehring looked
impressive as he went 6-7 to round out the Pro-am
top five overall for the day.
Myles Santaniello also put in a good effort
as he took 9-5 finishes, giving him sixth overall
for the day and putting him in eighth in Pro-am
points.
Arthur "Artie" Drouin also made his
Pro-am debut and put in two consistent motos,
going 8-6 for seventh overall.

Shawn Welsh finishied 8th Overall on the
day & finished 6th in points |
The number 64 Honda of Shawn Welsh held on
for eighth place overall, that would put him
in sixth in Pro-am points, while Matt Pomeroy
would finish in ninth overall for the day and
round out the top ten in points. Rich Stambach
looked strong in moto one, taking a fifth place
finish, but a DNF in moto two hampered his efforts,
putting him in tenth overall for the day.
With the end of the 2010 season, most racers
are looking forward to a bit of R&R, but
that will be short lived as the competition
has stepped up quite a bit in the series and
racers will soon be getting their machines ready
for 2011, and begin their training in hopes
of dethroning dual Pro and Pro-am Champion,
Cody Miller.
