Can-Am/Motoworks’ Joe Haavisto was looking
fast and smooth for the final round. Haavisto
got off the line in sixth place for the first
Pro moto and was able to work into fourth before
reaching the checkered flag, but the second
moto, Haavisto seemed unstoppable. The number
one Can-Am took a solid third off the start
and was chasing down Cody Miller and Jasmin
Plante. As luck would have it, Plante ended
up getting stuck on a berm, which also slowed
down Miller, allowing Haavisto to get by and
take over the lead.

Once out front, Haavisto began to put a nice
gap between him and the competition. Haavisto
held his lead and took the moto two win with
20 seconds over second place. Haavisto’s
solid 4-1 finishes put him in second overall
for the day and put him in fourth overall in
the Pro points chase. “I’m glad
to end the season with solid races,” said
Haavisto, who may or may not be returning to
the series next season. “It all depends
on what kind of support I can get and if I can
work out a deal,” he said.
Can-Am/BCS Performance’s Cody Miller
took a nasty digger at Montreal Supercross just
one week before and was still feeling the effects
of an injury to his right leg, but that didn’t
deter Miller from achieving his goal of taking
his first NEATVMX Pro Championship. All Miller
needed to do was finish the first moto and he
would claim the championship, but Miller’s
determination allowed him to finish in a solid
third in both motos to not only take the championship,
but also end his season on the podium.

/ Can-Am's Cody Miller raced his way to
a third place overall in the Pro Class,
which was more than enough to clinche
the NEATV-MX Pro ATV Championship, which

“I’m really happy to give Can-Am
and BCS Performance the championship. We have
all worked really hard this season and it has
really paid off. I have to thank everyone who
has helped me this year. Can-Am and BCS have
really come through for me this season and I
couldn’t have done it without their support,”
said Miller.
