BCS/Can-Am’s Cody Miller would be a top
contended in the Pro motos as well slotting
into 3rd place out of the holeshot during Pro
moto one and holding this position all the way
to the end of the race just behind the Yamaha
of Plante and just in front of fellow Can-Am
racer Joe Haavisto in 4th place.

Troy
Lee's Cody Miller's consistency paid off
for him as he went 3-3 in the Pro class
to lock down 3rd place overall and hold
onto some very important points for the
championship |
Pro moto two rolled off the gate and it again
saw Miller getting a top 5 start out of the
holeshot and then work his way up to his final
finishing position of third place. Miller’s
hard fought battles and consistency would leave
him sitting in 3rd place on the Pro Podium after
going 3-3 in his motos. This finish would also
increase his points lead to 17 points over the
second place of Joe Haavisto. “My Can-Am
was running awesome all weekend and pulled up
the long hills with no problem. The dust at
this track is so fine that it goes straight
through your goggles which slowed me down a
little bit but I’m glad to be on the podium
and extending my points lead in the Pro class,”
said Miller after the event happily.
Fourth place would go to Jason Connell who
had a couple of hard fought battles of his own
out on the long, hilly, Maine course. He would
end up taking a 7th place finish in the first
Pro moto after a slight mistake on a downhill
left him high-sided on a thick berm but would
fight back in the second Pro moto to take a
4th place finish. “ Those things happen
and that’s racing I supposed, I did a
lot better in Moto two and I’m looking
forward to being back on the podium soon,”
said Jason afterward.

Jason
Connell had a rough going in the first
Pro moto of the day but after he recovered
from his slight bobble he was on the gas
charging hard back towards the leaders |
Myles
Santaniello of BCS Performance made a
huge turn for the better at round 9 at
he was present in both of the top 5's
in the Pro & Pro-Am classes |
Myles Santaniello would make a trip to the
top of the Pro-Class as he went 6-5 on the day
in Maine. After a hard fought weekend in Capeway
for round 8, Myles was very happy to be back
up in the top section of the Pro pack after
recovering fully from his accident prior in
the season at Jolly Roger for round 2. Sixth
place overall went to KTM’s Nate Morello
who would go 5-6 on the day, Joe Haavisto went
home with a seventh place finish after going
4-9 with a flat back tire in the second Pro
moto, in eighth place was Golden West’s
Rich Stambach who went 8-7, Jesse Onesti broke
into the top 10 by going 10-8, and rounding
out the top 10 was DRT/KTM’s Vinny Mofford
who went 9-10 on the day.

Cody Miller (3rd), Jasmin Plante (1st),
Michael Pilotte (2nd) |
The Pro-Am racers were next up on the gate
and were eager to have their shot at the Hemonds
course as well. Many of the usual top riders
chose not to race in the Pro-Am class at Hemonds
but with twelve total racers, the action was
sure to be just as electric!
The Pro-Am moto one holeshot would go to none
other than DRT’s Michael Pilotte who barely
edged out Yamaha’s Jasmin Plante into
the first turn. Plante would then soon take
over the lead from Pilotte heading into the
downhill section only to be later then passed
back by Pilotte before the checkered flag flew!
The great battles would leave Michael Pilotte
in third place overall finishing 1-3, Jasmin
Plante in second place overall finishing 2-2,
and Cody Miller taking top honors by going 3-1
on the day.

Jasmin
Plante & Michael Pilotte have been
seeing a lot of eachother lately during
the holeshots & round 9 was no exception
with Pilotte just barely edging out Plante
on the inside corner |
