Cody Miller was out for redemption as the gate
dropped in Pro-Am ATV moto two which saw him
make short work of the other Pro-Am racers and
sweep the holeshot and lead from start to finish.

BCS
Performance's #22 Cody Miller grabbed
the Pro-Am Moto Two holeshot ahead of
#91 Jasmin Plante, #70 Matthieu Deroy,
& #815 Bobby Ross |
Following Miller tightly in moto two was Yamaha
mounted Jasmin Plante as he was on the gas as
well and never let Miller slip away too far
in the beginning laps. About halfway thru the
6-lapper Plante was able to make the pass on
Miller and begin to put valuable seconds between
himself and Miller.

Jasmin
Plante was able to get around the #22
Can-Am of Cody Miller about midway thru
the 6-lapper with Miller in chase |
Cody Miller, wasn't about to give
up as he was able to reel in Jasmin Plante
to claim the win in the final lap of the
race |
Those seconds proved to not be enough to hold
the lead as Miller was truly on a mission to
create a statement and take a win in the final
Pro caliber moto of the day. The last lap is
always important for the outcome of a race but
for Miller it was essential and on the last
camble-back section of the track he was able
to make a flying pass on Plante to take the
lead before the checkered flag flew.
Three seemed to be Michael Pilotte's lucky
number as he snagged up third place for the
second Pro-Am moto as well. He was in good position
from start to finish and not required to make
his way through heavy traffic and as Plante
and Miller were battling up front, Pilotte was
able to make up ground on the pair and pull
away from Bobby Ross, Joe Haavisto, and Jason
Connell as they battled to round out the top
five.

KTM's
Michael Pilotte was back on the gas for
moto two of Pro-Am & secured another
3rd place for himself |
Joe Haavisto could claim the 4th
spot in moto two & his 2-4 overall
finishes put him on the podium with 3rd
overall |
Fourth Place went to Joe Haavisto would was
in a mid-pack battle for the length of the race
with Bobby Ross and Jason Connell. Consistency
pays off and this proved especially true for
Haavisto on Sunday’s race, going 2-4 on
the day would also allow him to land in 3rd
overall on the Pro-Am podium and getting valuable
Championship points.
Fifth place in moto two went to Jason Connell
who was constantly in the thick of things out
on the track, banging bars with Haavisto, Ross,
and at times, Miller, he was on the gas but
unfortunately because of the tight track conditions
was not able to make many secure passes, nevertheless
he rounded out the top five in Pro-Am and a
fourth place moto two finish in Pro will keep
him in the points hunt.

|
Jason
Connell rounded out the top 5 in the Pro-Am
ranks after battling his way thru the
mid-pack section & dealing with the
single-line nature of this sandy coastal
track |
Matthieu
Deroy made the jump to the full Pro class
for round 5 & is still a force in
the Pro-Am Class, he grabbed 8th overall
on the day |
Matthieu Deroy has been increasingly a force
in the Pro-Am ranks this year as he and race
partner Jasmin Plante have always been up front
mixing things up. This year for round five,
he has decided to run both the Pro-Am class
as usual, and now the Pro Class too. Going 5-11
in Pro-Am for 8th overall and despite mechanical
issues in Pro, he went 12-10 for 11th overall.
He will surely be looking for a podium finish
at the next round at MX207 in Maine.
