Matt Schaeffer was finally able
to make a late race pass through the bowl section
where he was able to claim the final podium
spot. Fisher was the JM Pro-Hydro Pro-Lite winner
followed by the Rage / Motor City Solutions
/ Fierce Powersports Honda TRX450r piloted by
Deister and Matt Schaeffer getting the final
podium spot.

The top youth riders where up next in the JM
Pro-Hydro Supermini class. With 14 riders signed
up that meant there was $710 up for grabs plus
another $100 Quadified Racing Engine Holeshot
award. The top qualifier was Ashton Russell
who earlier in the day got the 90cc class win
and was looking for the weekend sweep.

As the buzzing of the two strokes
came to life and the light turned green it was
the #192 rider and 2013 National 90cc Champion
Carter Buff claiming the $100 Quadified Racing
Engines Holeshot award. Buff was followed closely
by Russell, Katlynn Putnam, Dylan Dworak, and
Kohl Moore as the early race leaders. Russell
and Buff swapped leads through the first part
of the race and were able to pull away from
the pack leaving several of the riders left
to fight for the final podium spot. Several
riders ran into mechanical issues having to
pull off during the race so it opened the door
for many other riders for that final podium
spot. Braxton Vick and Nicholas Coltrane ended
up in a battle staying right with each other
for the final spot through out most of the race
with another fun race to watch in the mid pack
between Braden Coltrane and Tanner Terry for
the 6th place spot. Russell took the JM Pro-Hydro
Supermini class win, followed by Buff in second
and Vick able to get the last spot on the podium
finishing 3rd.
Round three that was scheduled for Sunday following
round two at Pine Lake was canceled due to rain
and might be rescheduled as a possible double
header at either the New York or North Carolina
final rounds. This information will be released
shortly on both the series website and also
