Brian Ace Wins Batavia North East Extreme Dirt Track
::Continued::
Michael Houghton came off the Holeshot in the Pro-Am race in 4th place right behind fellow hometown racer #70 Garrett Ryckman. Houghton quickly made his way around Ryckman up into 3rd place to set his sites on Ace and Evanyke. Halfway through the race, Houghton was able to catch up to Evanyke and Ace who were running up front but unfortunately wasn’t able to make a real charge on the pair before the checkers flew.

“My huge thanks goes to Pippard Performance and Bicknell Racing products for helping me get on the podium at this race. My starts have kind of been suffering this year and for this race my quad was running amazingly and the Hoosier tires hooked up great off the line and when the track got grooved up solidly they were right there. I was able to get around Garrett towards the early part of the track but then when I caught up to Ace and Evanyke I just ran out of laps and couldn’t do anything. We’re gonna go back to work and really focus on the rest of the season and keep our goals in mind towards the end of the year” said Houghton after the event.
