As the gait dropped for the main event, it was
Jasmin Plante who was first off the start, but
Plante squared off the first turn right in front
of Wienen with the pair connecting, which sent
Plante tumbling, and allowing John Natalie to
take over the lead.

Natalie was holding strong despite pressure from
Chad Wienen, who had quickly worked back up. Natalie
and Wienen were side by side as they battled it
out, but as they came to the whoops section, Wienen
would go off the track, allowing Natalie to check
out. From there, Natalie rode unchallenged until
reaching the checkered flag to take the 2010 Monster
Energy Montreal Supermotocross win.

spot on the Podium for a Can-Am Podium sweep |
Cody Miller, who suffered a horrible wreck in
the first heat race was on the second row for
the start, but quickly mounted a charge and moved
up four positions by the end of the second lap.
Miller was holding strong in fourth place and
was battling it out with KTM rider, Bobby Desjardins.
Miller fought hard despite his injuries and would
get past the number 64 in the last lap to take
the final spot on the podium.
“I was actually catching up to Pelchat,
who was in second, but my leg was hurting really
bad and I just didn’t have enough time to
get close enough,” said Miller, who took
the Montreal Supermotocross win back in 2007.
