Cody Miller looked strong in the first heat,
but a nasty crash that injured Miller’s
leg took him out of commission for the rest of
the heat. “My leg got caught when I crashed
and I ended up with a huge hematoma on my right
leg that swelled up to the size of a watermelon,
and I sprained my knee and ankle as well,”
said Miller, whose injuries almost kept him out
of the main event.
