Placing second in the MAXC Pro Class was Ballance Racing’s Taylor Kiser. Kiser was top three heading into the woods after the Pro Holeshot. Kiser quickly worked his way into the number one sport shortly into lap one. He would then drop back into second place when Kevin Cunninham took the downhill Pro Line and took over the lead.

Taylor Kiser finished second in the AMA MAXC Pro Class
|
“I got off to a mid pack start and we just cruised along the first lap and he (Kevin Cunningham) made a good line and we kind of missed it and I just sat in second all day and rode my own race. The dust and the lappers were a big challenge but overall it was a good track and we had a pretty good day!” explained Maxxis’ Taylor Kiser of second place finish.
Despite hitting a lapped rider head on, 2013 defending AMA MAXC Pro ATV Champion Ryan Lane was able to battle the thick dust and lapped riders to finish third overall in the Pro Class. This would be Lane’s first podium finish of the season in the very talented Pro Class.

Spider Graphix' Ryan Lane rounded out the AMA MAXC Pro Podium in third
|
“It was tough out there. I got a good start but a guy stalled it in the creek. I ended up running into the back of Craig Bowman. Then we got to rolling out there and a bunch of people missed the course and they were going backwards and me and another guy hit head on going really hard. We hit helmets and it ripped took my bumper off and rolled by controls forward. It took a little bit to recover after that. I came through in fifth and worked by way up to third,” stated Spider Graphix’ Ryan Lane.
