Team Cabana Motorsports Takes UTV Win at Heartland Challenge

Team BMT Racing earned third. Interestingly, Team BMT consisted of a brand new Kawasaki Limited Edition Teryx4 LE. The four seater UTV was driven by Brian Bulter.

The new Kawasaki had the rear seats removed and different OEM rims; other than those minimal modifications the UTV was stock. The BMT Team rode in sixth for several laps before taking fourth on lap eleven. They drove into third on lap fourteen and remained there until the finish for the final spot on the podium.

Team Cook Insurance grabbed the holeshot & lead the entire race to the finish to earn the win in the 850 Modified SxS / UTV Class |
The 850 Modified class was won by Team Cook Insurance. The father and son team grabbed the holeshot on their Polaris RZR 800 S SxS. They maintained the lead for the entire race; that was an impressive feat not only because of the track conditions, but also because they rolled the UTV on lap three. Team Gifford Racing and Team Sinclair Racing took second and third in the class.

The 2013 GBC Heartland Challenge is in the books and after such and exciting race with a lot of added money, we can only imagine what will be in store for the 2014 Heartland Challenge. Stay tuned to the Heartland Challenge website for future information concerning next year’s event!
