Brandon Sommers - Yamaha YFZ450X ATV |
Fellow Yamaha team racer Brandon Sommers would
claim the 11th spot as the blue army all remained
close and captured their share of top 10. Sommers
would not be racing at 100% due to an illness
that isn’t expected to last too long and
we can all look forward to seeing him battle for
the podium soon.

#784 Brandon Sommers ended the 2009 season
with a broken leg at the Ironman, and
unfortunately, he picked up Mono during
his recovery, which has him starting out
the 2010 season far from 100%, but instead
of watching from the sidelines, Sommers,
gave it his all at Round 1 and managed
to secure a 11th place finish |

Bryan Cook - KTM 450XC ATV |
For Bryan Cook, the opportunity for a factory
ride has been granted as the Carolina native joined
forces with the FRE/KTM team headed by legendary
racer Tim Farr. Cook has been very pleased with
the KTM450 and was being touted as one to watch
right from the get go this season. Unfortunately
for Cook and the team, a clutch would cause some
major issues during the race and Bryan would have
to back off the throttle and settle for the 10th
spot. Heading into the upcoming rounds, watch
for Cook to be a front runner.

#5 Bryan Cook has always had the natural
talent, but he just hasn't had the level
of support he needed to bid for a championship,
but with the FRE / KTM backing in 2010,
he has a serious shot at the title if
he can avoid any mechanical issues |

Harold Goodman - Honda TRX 450R ATV |
For Harold Goodman, the 2010 season will be a
busy one as he attempts to race the full schedule
in the GNCC and AMA MX series. Goodman will be
aboard a Honda for both series and once he gets
himself fully acclimated to going fast in the
trees should be one to keep an eye on. With 25
years of racing under his belt, Goodman brings
some fascinating stories to this side of the sport!
|
|
#708 Harold Goodman is one of the most
adaptive ATV racers of all time as he
has raced in every form of ATV racing
at the Pro level, and for 2010, Goodman
is making a full season commitment to
GNCC & ATV Motocross racing, which
is the first ATV racer to attempt to race
both series in the same season |
The series heads to Georgia for round 2 as
the racers prepare for the sticky clay that
the region is known for. The series points battle
will be a close one again this season and every
round will count so look for the competition
to remain fierce!
