#3
Adam McGill - Can-Am DS450 ATV |
Making it a 1,2,3 finish, Adam McGill would give
Warnert Racing and Can Am an impressive start
to the season as he rounded out the podium with
3rd. McGill was off to a great start and lead
the majority of the race as fans awaited something
to go wrong with his machine. As proof that the
Warnert team had dedicated itself to finding and
fixing issues with the DS450, McGill would press
his machine harder and harder as the race wore
on under some of the most demanding conditions
ever found.

#3 Adam McGill made the switch to the
Warnert Racing / Can-Am Team, and McGill
appeared right at home on his new DS450
ride as he secured a podium finish after
leading most of the race |
#13
Chris Bithell - Can-Am DS450 ATV |
|
#13
Chris Bithell has struggled the past 2
years only finishing 4 times in the Top
5 Overall, but with a season opener in
4th place, things are looking brighter
for Bithell and the entire Warnert Race
Team |
Teammate Chris Bithell would back up the hard
work during the off season and would narrowly
miss the chance to fight for a podium spot of
his own as he finished 4th. The Warnert team indeed
would have a good day, and if they have strengthened
the machine to withstand the abuse of the XC1
class, we could see the return of Bithell into
the foray as he intends to fight for a win and
his own championship.
The upcoming rounds should show us if this
season will be filled with tight racing or will
be marred by mechanical issues leaving the sports
top talents sidelined. Warnert has focused 100%
of its attention on its GNCC program for the
2010 season as it has turned over the MX side
of things to another company. If they can keep
their Pro talent out front, it could be an impressive
year for the team and Can Am.
#4
Bill Ballance - Yamaha YFZ450X ATV |
Bill Ballance would claim the 5th spot as the
race ended, and will have his work cut out for
him this season if he wishes to recapture that
number 1 plate. Ballance never mounted a run at
the race leaders which is uncommon especially
at the opening round. Ballance has proven his
Yamaha is up to the task and with his experience
and uncontested record, don’t count him
out by any means.

|
After 9 straight Years with the #1 Plate,
it seemed strange to see Bill Ballance
running any other number, but for 2010,
Ballance is #4, and he wants his 10th
Championship more than ever, but it will
not be an easy goal with the level of
competition in the Pro Class, but in the
past, Ballance has always had luck in
his favor, which could once again play
out again in 2010, but only time will
