Pro-Am Production & Pro Am Unlimited ATV Race Report

#57 John Vandemark & #55 Walter Whitehead went tumbling and Tim Farr & Kendall Webb locked wheels, which forced a ProAm Unlimited restart

Upon the restart, #39 Ryan Partee jumped out front with the early lead over #3 Brandon Hill, while Tim Farr started dead last with a clutch issue

The Pro Am Unlimited class champion had also been determined before the night began as longtime pro rider Tim Farr had a lead of 51 points going into the final round even after missing round two. When the race began for the final time of the season there were several bikes that bumped tires and nerf bars sending quads sliding and flipping down the front straight away. Fortunately none of the riders were seriously injured and after a red flag the race was restarted with several of the riders going to the third row for the re-start including Tim Farr.

Brandon Hill charged his way past Partee to claim his 2nd Win of the year
When the light turned green the second time it was Ryan Partee taking the holeshot with Brandon Hill close behind. Meanwhile Farr had started on the penalty row and came off the line in the back of the pack. Farr picked off several riders early and then one or more each lap as he closed in on the leaders. Hill was able to take the lead after several laps but Partee stayed close the entire race. Farr was able to make his way all the way up to the third spot before the checkered flag ended his bid for a victory. Hill was able to take his second victory of the season followed by Partee, Farr, Zach Stanley, Marc Noreuil, Adam Anderson, Russel Mcwhorter, Chris Mezo, Kendall Webb, and Chad Winfrey all with a top ten finish.

#4 Tim Farr amazingly charged his way from dead last to finish third, which is a champion's never give up attitude no matter how large the obstacle

#132 Zach Stanley was passed by Farr in the final laps, which dropped him off the Podium, but he still finished out the year in 3rd overall in the ProAm Unlimited Class

Following Farr in the season points standings were Brandon Hill, Zach Stanley, Ryan Partee, Darin Ogden, Josh Carter, Kristopher Bures, Trent Powell, Russel Mcwhorter, and Walter Whitehead.

Zac Willet ended the last race of the season with a career first ProAm Win
In the Pro Am Production race Harold Goodman already had the title in hand even if he sat this one out, but he was on the track one more time for the final race of the evening. Duro Tires rider Zac Willett grabbed the early lead over Goodman, who was followed by Brandon Hill, Michael Coburn, Hunter Haswell, Chuckie Creech and Brandon Shipman. Creech was able to move into the fifth spot behind Coburn in the 2nd lap and moved around Coburn in the 5th using the split lanes to move into the fourth position. Willett was able to maintain his lead to the finish line and take his first victory of the year. Goodman was second and followed by Hill, Creech, Coburn, Shipman, Kelsey Stamm, Haswell, Doug Obie, and Doug Crossway all in the top ten.

Houser Racing's Harold Goodman not only wrapped up the Pro Championship, he also won the ProAm Production Championship as well over Frank Batista

Michael Coburn finished out the year with a 5th place in Pro Am Production, which is exactly where he finished out the season in the class

Goodman was followed in the points chase by Frank Batista, Zac Willett, Chuckie Creech, Michael Coburn, Brandon Hill, Mitch Reynolds, Brad Riley, Shane Hitt, and Brandon Shipman all finishing in the top ten for the year.

Congratulations to every 2007 ATVA Duro Extreme Dirt Track Champion on a great season! All Champions and special awards will be awarded at the annual year end banquet to be held in Columbus, OH on October 20th 2007.
