In the Pro Am Unlimited class Tim Farr returned on his
KTM 525XC ATV. Farr won his heat race as did Virginia
rider Brandon Hill and Darin Ogden. In the main event
Hill took the Holeshot followed by Zach Stanley and Tim
Farr. Farr was around Stanley in the second lap along
the back straightaway and quickly pressing hard on Hill.
Knowing someone is chasing you down on the racetrack always
puts pressure on a rider to keep his line and not make
any mistakes, but when its Tim Farr behind you, you know
the heat is on. For the final 17 laps of the race that
was the challenge Hill faced if he was to win the race.
Hill was flawless as he held the 11 time pro champion
off after Farr made numerous attempts to get around. Hill
earned his first victory of the series while Farr was
second followed by Zach Stanley. Darin Ogden, Trent Powell,
Kirby Cooke, Ryan Partee, Brandon Sullenger, Kristopher
Bures, and Josh Carter rounded out the top ten.

In the Pro Am Production class it was Mitch Reynolds,
Chuckie Creech, and Frank Batista taking the checkered
flags in the heat races. When the riders started in
the main event, it was Batista out front from the start.
After leading early and finishing 2nd in the first two
rounds, Batista was not letting this one get away. He
got his first victory of the year, while Chuckie Creech
finished 2nd and Pro Am Unlimited winner Brandon Hill
was 3rd. Mitch Reynolds, Harold Goodman, Shane Hitt,
Brad Riley, Michael Coburn, Josh Carter and Jordan Rummage
rounded out the top tetn.
The series will continue in two weeks on July 20-22
at Pine Lake in Ashtabula OH.
