#038 Michael Coburn
earned a spot on the first row in the Main after
winning his Heat Race
|
Shane Hitt lined
up on the back row along side Chad Winfrey,
Brandon Shipman, and Brian Ace

After each of the qualifiers were introduced and took
a parade lap, they were lined up on three rows with 8
each on the first two rows and four on the third row.
When the light went to green, Houser Racing’s Harold
Goodman quickly jumped out front with the Holeshot followed
by Michael Coburn. Zach Stanley was in the third position
followed by Darin Ogden and Brad Riley.
Coburn stayed close to Goodman until lap three when
his lowering linkage came apart and he had to pull off
the track, which ended his run at a career first Pro
Podium appearance. With Coburn out of the competition,
it opened up the door for Zach Stanley to move into
the 2nd spot, but by then Goodman was long gone and
was never threatened throughout the race. Stanley also
held onto the runners-up spot and earned his first ever
Pro Podium finish by holding off hard charging Lost
Creek Cycles Suzuki rider Mitch Reynolds. Reynolds worked
his way up from the 6th place position to earn the final
spot on the Podium ahead of Darin Ogden followed by
Chuckie Creech, Frank Batista, Brad Riley, Shane Hitt,
Trent Powell, and Craig Kern rounded out the top ten.

Reynolds has moved into 3rd with 51 points followed
by Sparks Frank Batista, 45 points and Brad Riley, 41
points all chasing the 2007 national title.
