Pro- Am Unlimited ATV MAIN RACE REPORT |
The high horsepower big bores of the Pro-Am Unlimited class were up next to the line and with 18 racers, it was sure to be exciting!
EKS Goggles / PEP / ESJ Graphic’s Brad Riley was unstoppable on the weekend and especially in the Pro-Am Unlimited class, which he had the points championship wrapped up in as well after a winning weekend ending with 220 points. Riley came off the line behind Nathan Wolff who grabbed the holeshot and began to work on the Wolff Motorsports racer. Within a short few laps, Riley was able to slip by Wolff and go on to charge his way to the main event win and stand atop the podium for the third time in one evening.

“The Unlimited class is always a lot of fun and just another excuse to get back on the track and dice it out with these guys. It’s great to have Daryl doing well in the class and seeing him race right along with us. We all run his products pretty much and its a great experience. I’m thankful for having won this championship once again and I couldn’t be happier with this weekend’s results.”, said Riley.
Wolff Motorsports’ Nathan Wolff found himself in the lead after taking the holeshot to lead the pack early on in the race. Wolff battled with Riley for a few laps until Riley was able to slip by, leaving Wolff to fend off Rath who was running in third place. Wolff was able to do just that and stay in second place for the entire race resulting in a solid podium finish, which also allowed him to stay in second place in the National points chase with 166 points.

“We had a really awesome race tonight with Brad (Riley) and Daryl (Rath) and it was a lot of fun! The track changed quite a bit since last night and over the weekend but I really liked it and it felt really fast and technical. My DASA motor and Axis suspension kept the quad planted and making power for the entire race. I’m happy with the weekend and also finishing really strong in the points chase for the class!”, said Wolff.

Daryl Rath rounded out the Pro-Am Unlimited Class Podium in third |
Rath Racing School / Fly / PEP’s Daryl Rath was another top-gunner in the Pro-Am Unlimited class, as he has been all season. Rath came out of the holeshot and followed Riley’s line on the outside-inside option lane and was able to hold onto this third place position for the entire race! Rath was followed by Michael Houghton for the entire race as well and was able to hold him off until the end. This position resulted in Rath’s third place finish in the championship points race as well with 146 points.
“It’s an amazing experience to race with these guys and compete on the same level consistently. The track was changing over time and my ATV felt great over the course and I’m glad I was able to be back on the podium.”, said Rath.

The Women’s class was another one to watch on Saturday evening with Paula Shank having wrapped up the championship early, she decided to push her quad across the line and let the other ladies battle it out. #25 CCR Racing / Wiseco’s Andrea Creech snagged the holeshot just ahead of #204 Fly / Hoosier’s Robyn Chepkauskas and #17 Walsh’s Sarah Rafferty. Creech stayed out front and went on to secure the win, her first ever main event win of her career. This in turn resulted in her staying solidly in second place for the points battle with Chepkauskas in third.
