Harold Goodman Wins Extreme Dirt Track Pro Championship
::Continued::

Goodman came off the line in true Bumblebee fashion and took the holeshot just ahead of Riley to lead for the first bit of the race. Goodman battled his hardest as the pair ran the ragged course and pushed each other to the limit. Goodman eventually dropped back to second place as Riley took over the lead. Goodman finished out the remaining laps in second place but was able to gather enough points to retain the points lead which he was very happy about.

Harold Goodman got the early lead in the Extreme Dirt Track Pro Main but fell back to second before crossing the finish line. Goodman's second place finish would enough to earn the Extreme Dirt Track Pro Class Championship once again!

“I’m really happy to be able to come out here for the third time as take the championship, even if it was that close! It was a tight battle all year long and I knew going into this one that the Pro class was gonna be the one to watch with Brad, being only 12 points back and Coburn being only 11 points behind me, it was gonna be either of our chances to come out on top. I can’t thank the people behind me enough for sticking with me over the years and seeing us all the way to the top. We’ve been doing this a long time and it’s always exciting to be on the top of the podium!”, said Goodman.

Wash / Laker Custom / JSR Performance’s Michael Coburn had his best finish of the weekend after taking a solid holeshot towards the front of the pack and battling his way to third place on the Pro podium. Coburn came off the line just behind Riley and just ahead of Daryl Rath and stuck it out until the checkered flag flew without losing or gaining position. With this third place on the podium, Coburn locked in on third place as well within the points chase with 172 points ending his season with the solid finish.

“The weekend went pretty well for me and I’m glad I was able to get back up on the podium, it feels good to run with these guys for all twenty laps and put in a solid run. The season had a lot of ups and downs where I did really good and other times where it was a rough weekend but I’m happy with the way it turned out in the end”, said Coburn.

Rath Racing / Mystik / DASA’s Daryl Rath was on his game in the Pro class as he and CCR / Close Encounter Whitetails’ Chuckie Creech battled it out for the fourth and fifth spots in the Pro class. Rath was able to hold off Creech for the whole twenty laps to take home a solid fourth place, while Creech finished in fifth, his best finish of the finale weekend.
