Nathan Wolff Wins Pro-Am Unlimited Batavia Extreme Dirt Track

#92 Pippard Performance / Bicknell’s Michael Houghton wound up in fourth place in the Unlimited class after battling with Evanyke for the entire race while Daryl Rath of Rath Racing fought for contention behind Houghton in fifth place.

Sixth place went to MSC Inc. / PEP’s Dustin Hoffman who battled with Robert’s Racing’s Andrew Ace in seventh place followed by #8 Jimmy Medlin in eighth place while #117 Six5Design / Southern Illinois Chopper’s Jared Hulliung got inside the top 10 with a ninth place spot finishing just ahead of #21 Tru-Way Racing’s Kris Bures in tenth place.
In the Women’s class, multi-time defending points leader Paula Shank was ahead of the pack off the gate and on her way to victory riding on a borrowed Polaris Outlaw ATV followed closely by CCR Racing’s #25 Andrea Creech. As the pair came into a tight left hand corner, Shank’s quad shut down causing the two to slam into each other, in turn stalling Creech’s quad as well.

One lap prior to this, #204 Robyn Chepkauskas had her own issues with the dry and dusty track, looping out in the bottom section allowing Canada’s Sarah Rafferty to take the lead for a few laps. Chepkauskas was back on the throttle for the remaining laps and was able to reel in Rafferty and put a solid pass on her only a couple of short laps before the checkered flag flew, resulting in Chepkauskas’ first-ever Women’s main event win and inching her closer to Creech who was sitting in second place in the points battle.
The weekend was just getting fired up with the conclusion of round 7 on Friday night.
