Keith Carlson’s Q5 Suzuki LTR450 ATV team barely made it the race in time with their ATV showing up at 3 AM, just hours before the race started. Despite starting in seventh place and blowing out a rear shock, the team finished fourth, less than 5 minutes behind first place of Scott Fisher.

“The bike didn’t want to pull the tall tires, so we were a little low on power. We didn’t have any other issues besides blowing the rear shock.” Said Q5’s Jeremy Gray
Can-Am / Motoworks’ Josh Frederick was fourth off the starting line aboard his Can-Am DS450 ATV. By the second lap Frederick was able to work his way through the field and to make the pass on the Q1 of David Scott to take over the lead. Unfortunately his charge would end shortly into the final lap as a mechanical failure would end the team’s day finishing in the fifth spot.

“The bike was running really well. During the second lap everything started to click and I felt really good on the Can-Am DS450 ATV. I made up some time and passed a couple guys and grabbed the physical lead. We then had some mechanical issues that ended my day early” said Q44 Josh Frederick
The start of the 2013 BITD UTV Pro class saw 14 entries at the Parker 250. It would be Kingpin’s #1943 Polaris XP 4 900 SxS / UTV team who would take the UTV Pro Class win. Gabe Guerin & copilot Stephanie Reynolds started the race twelfth off the line. The team ran a consistent race and they were able to reel in the leaders in the final lap to take their first ever BITD UTV Pro Class & overall win.

“The race was great. It was a real tough course, but we had a great time. This was our first BITD race win. We started racing last year and we worked out all the bugs and we finally got it running all good. The course was fast and a bit technical.” Said Gabe Guerin
