BEST IN THE DESERT Series Parker 250 ATV / SxS Race January 12, 2013

James Woodford would start the race for CT’s Racing’s Q1 team in third position and would take the early lead. Woodford would pass the Honda 450R ATV off to Scott at the mid point, where Scott held the lead until the second lap when they began to experience clutch issues and lost the lead to the Q44 Josh Frederick.

2012 Defending Q1 David Scott & fill-in rider James Woodford placed second just 10 seconds behind first place after experiencing clutching issues late in the race

“The race was good, my partner James started. We got off the line third and when he came into alternates, he was second. we were having clutch issues as soon as we left that, I babied it the whole second look and gave it back to him in first. When he brought it back to be on my last leg in, it was really bad I couldn’t even go quarter throttle or even fifth it was all I could do to limp the bike in” stated David Scott.

The Can-Am / Motoworks team would soon experience mechanical issues as well letting David Scott once again take over the lead on the final lap. They took the checkered flag physically in first with a time of 5:06:43, but with time adjustments the team would finish just 10 seconds behind first place.

Cody Mitchell came in the 2013 BITD racing season coming off a Ironman & Overall win at the 2012 Henderson 250

After ending the 2012 BITD Racing season on a high note by taking an impressive overall Quad Pro ATV win and the Ironman Quad Class win at Henderson 250, Cody Mitchell was back in action with fellow WORCS racer Kyle Grosse and his #Q83 Honda TRX 450R. The team rode a smooth race without any issues and claimed third place just over a minute after the winner.

“The race went pretty good, Cody started out. I got on the bike pretty virgin to the course and I went off and I got stuck and I had to get bump started. I got it back to Cody again and we were about three or four minutes behind. Cody caught us back up.” Said Kyle Grosse

#Q83 Cody Mitchell teamed up with fellow WORCS Racer Kyle Grosse for the BITD Parker 250. It was Grosse's first BITD race & the team performed very well placing third
