Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie was in second
off the start in mot one and had his hands full
as Josh Upperman challenged him early in the moto.
Upperman dropped back after a wreck, giving Natalie
a break, but Natalie would wreck in a downhill
sweeper right in front of the mechanics area.
Natalie could not get his quad to re-fire right
away and dropped back for a 14th place finish.

he was alright & finished out the moto

DWT's John
Natalie got off to a slow start in Moto
2, but he quickly began to charge his
way through the pack as he went on to
finish in 5th place in Moto 2

In moto two, Natalie got off to a mid-pack start
and fought his way up to fifth place, giving him
ninth overall for the day.
Harold Goodman rounded out the top ten for moto
one and hung on for 11th in moto two. Goodman’s
10-11 finishes allowed him to round out the top
ten overall.
Nick De Noble came off the start in the top ten
and chased down Joe Byrd in moto one. DeNoble
would get past Byrd for two laps, but fall back
after Byrd made a charge late in the race. In
moto two, DeNoble looked promising as he grabbed
the holeshot, but after just a couple of laps
in the lead, DeNoble suffered a mechanical issues
and dropped back to 16th place, giving him 11th
overall.

Janssen
Motosport's Nick DeNoble grabbed

laps before he suffered a transmission issue,
which ended his charge & the shot at
another Podium finish after an impressive

“I got a great start but had some issues.
I was hoping to hold on but that didn’t
happen,” said a disappointed DeNoble.

Hetrick Racing's
Joel Hetrick rebounded in Moto 2 to claim
a 6th place finish after having issues
in Moto One after an early on Top 5 charge

Joel Hetrick, who was most impressive at round
five, was looking strong as he was moving through
traffic in moto one. Hetrick moved into the number
five spot, but encountered an issue with his rear
shock at the midway point, and dropped back to
finish in 16th place. Hetrick made progress in
moto two, finishing in a respectable sixth place,
giving him 12th overall for the day.
Adam Clark hung on for 13th place with Derek
Swartfager finishing in 14th. Canadian racer Greg
Gee had issues in moto one and hung on for 15th
overall, with Marc Winchester in 16th and Jon
Ven John taking 17th place at the end of the day.
Round number seven of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will be heading to Spring Creek
MX in Millville, MN on June 4th – 5th where
Chad Wienen will be looking for redemption and
a win as he tries to hold off John Natalie for
the points lead.
