In moto two, Brown again got a decent start and

Racing's Thomas Brown was flying high at
Steel City with a 2nd Overall finish as
Brown continues his march up the ranks as
he has improved his overall finish with
each passing round this year |
“I’m pumped to be here. This is a
technical track and there was great racing today
and I am stoked to be up here. The battles were
intense today. Chase gave me a good fight in the
first moto and it was a lot of fun. Now I am really
looking forward to the next round because I really
want to be up here again,” said Brown.

SSI's
#48 Chase Snapp had a heated battle with
#84 Thomas Brown in Moto 1 to claim the
2nd spot behind Chad Wienen |
Can-Am rookie, Chase Snapp, was most impressive
in moto one as he came off the start in the top
five and immediately began to charge forward.
Snapp and Thomas Brown seemed to pick up where
they left off in round five, battling hard with
positions changing hands several times, but Snapp
was able to hang on and keep his position ahead
of Brown. Snapp would also benefit when Josh Upperman
had a get off at the midway point allowing Snapp
to move into second place, where he would finish
out his moto.
“I got a good start and I just kept my
head down and tried to stay focused. Thomas was
really tough out there, but I am so excited to
be up here,” said Snapp after the first
moto.
In moto two, Snapp was just outside of the top
five off the start and held on for a seventh place
finish, but Snapp’s 2-7 finishes were enough
to give him his first ever pro podium finish in
third.

Motoworks'
Chase Snapp held onto a 7th place finish
in Moto 2 to claim his first AMA Pro ATV
MX Podium finish with 3rd Overall |
“I was looking to be back up in the top
three for this moto, but I’ll take what
I got. There were some really good battles and
it was good racing out there today so I am happy
to be up on the podium and I am really hoping
to stay consistent like this for the rest of the
season,” said Snapp.
