Rookie pro Derek Swartfager was impressive as
he held on for an eighth place finish in moto
one and ran a solid race in moto two as he finished
in tenth. Swartfager's consistency earned him
a very respectable seventh place overall.

#48 Chase Snapp took another Top 10 finish

Rok's Devin Heimes came on strong at Round
2 as he claimed a 9th Overall finish |
Can-Am's X-Team racer, Chase Snapp was looking
strong as he charged off the start. Snapp held
strong and ended moto one in seventh place. In
moto two, Snapp started off strong in seventh
place, but fell back to finish in 13th place.
Snapp would end his day in eighth place overall.
Devin Heimes was another rookie pro to crack the
top ten. Heimes rode a solid race in both motos
going 10-11 to claim ninth overall.
The number 88 Kawasaki of Joel Hetrick was looking
good, but the young racer crashed hard in moto one,
which set him back and gave him a 15th place finish.
Hetrick was on a mission to redeem himself in moto
two. After starting near the back of the pack, Hetrick
worked his way up from 17th to seventh place before
crossing the finish line, allowing him to round
out the top ten overall.

Yamaha's
Thomas Brown suffered another DNF in Moto
One, but he rebounded in Moto 2 & claimed
an 8th place finish |
Yamaha's Thomas Brown just couldn't catch a break
again as his quad began smoking in moto one, causing
him to fall back for a last place finish. In moto
two, Brown rebounded and came back to finish in
a solid eighth place, giving him 12th overall.

Janssen
Motorspots' #123 Nick DeNoble grabbed
the Moto One Holeshot & he was running
in the Top 5 before he wrecked, which
dropped him out of the running, but DeNoble
came back in Moto 2 to claim the 9th spot

Nick DeNoble grabbed the moto one holeshot, but
fell back to third after only a couple laps when
the Can-Am team came calling. DeNoble was holding
down fifth place when he went off the track and
crashed in mid moto, giving him a 16th place finish.
DeNoble came back for moto two and finished with
a 9th place finish despite being a little battered
and bruised, giving him 13th overall.

Adam Clark finished 11th Overall |
Rookie pro Adam Clark held on, taking 9-14 finishes
for eleventh overall, while Mushin Racing's Travis
Moore appeared to have issues in moto one and would
end his day in 14th overall. Ronnie Higgerson would
finish in 15th overall, while Harold Goodman, who
appeared to have issues in moto two, finished in
16th overall. Jonathon Ven John and Marc Winchester
also encountered issues and took 17th and 18th place
overall finishes.
Round number three of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will head to Bowling Green, KY where
Ballance MX will play host as Can-Am/Motoworks'
Chad Wienen will try to continue his total domination
and keep his winning streak alive as he appears
to be an early favorite for the 2011 pro championship.
