Can-Am/Motoworks' John Natalie started his season
off on the podium and was feeling confident after
the first round and it showed as he came off the
line in a solid fourth in the first moto. Natalie
quickly passed Nick DeNoble, but he pressured
Joe Byrd till the 6th lap before making the pass
for the second spot, which is where stayed till
the checkered flag.

/ Motoworks' John Natalie once again battled
his way through the field in Moto 2 as charged
his way past Lawson, Bryd, and finally Upperman
to claim the 2nd spot once again |
In the second moto, Natalie would have to work
a little harder as he came off the line in mid
pack, but the Ironman quickly began picking off
the competition and was in fifth place by the
end of lap one behind Jeremy Lawson, which is
where he stayed till lap 5 when he made the pass
for the fourth spot..
Once again, Natalie battled with Byrd for position
till the 9th lap when Natalie made the pass and
set his sights on Josh Upperman in the 2nd spot.
Natalie charge continued as he worked his way
past Uppperman for a 2-2 finish on the day for
second overall on the Podium. For another 1-2
finish for the Can-Am / Motoworks Team.

“It was tougher to pass out here, and I
really had to dig deep but I'm up on the podium
again. We're having a great season so far and
Can-Am is here to win a championship,” said
Natalie.
Baldwin Motorosports' Josh Upperman was in the top
five off the start and held on for a solid fourth
place finish in moto one. In the second moto, Upperman
got a better third place start before passing Byrd
to move up into the 2nd spot, which is where he
stayed till the final laps when dropped back to
third.

Upperman's 4-3 finish on the day was enough to
once again earn himself the final spot on the
Podium with third overall. “I felt good
and I really pushed it in moto two. I'll be trying
hard next round to be on the podium again,”
Upperman said.
