Honda's
Joe Byrd got off to a great start in Moto
One & finished out the Moto in the third
spot followed by Upperman |
American Honda's Joe Byrd was second off the start
and took the lead early in lap one, but fell back
to second when Chad Wienen came calling. Byrd would
then do battle with John Natalie, and fall back
to third place. Byrd remounted a charge in the last
few laps in an attempt to regain the spot, but to
no avail and he would stay in third all the way
to the checkered flag.
In the second moto, Byrd was on fire off the
start as he grabbed the moto two holeshot, but
he was not alone as Chad Wienen was right behind
him with Byrd dropping back to the second spot
by the end of lap one, and he would finish out
the moto in the sixth spot. Byrd's 3-6 finishes
were enough however, to put him in a respectable
fourth overall and also put him in fourth in the
pro points chase.

DASA
Racing's Joe Byrd grabbed the Moto Two
Holeshot by edging out Chad Wienen &
Byrd would go on to finish in sixth place
for 4th Overall
|
Walsh Racecraft's, Jeremy Lawson again looked
impressive in moto one and worked his way up from
a mid pack start to round out the top five. Lawson
had another great run in moto two by securing
a fourth place finish. Lawson's consistent 5-4
finishes allowed him to round out the top five
overall.

Walsh's
#16 Jeremy Lawson put together two consistent
Motos going 5-4 to round out the Top 5 Overall

Racing's #1 Josh Creamer made a surprise
appearance at Round 2 & he found himself
battling with Pro Rookie, Chase Snapp in
Moto One. Creamer made the pass on Snapp
to claim the 6th spot |
Josh Creamer made his surprise return to the
AMA Pro ATV MX Series this weekend to run his
number one plate. Creamer got off to a less than
desirable start in moto one and found himself
in a battle for Chase Snapp for several laps before
making the passs for the sixth spot, but by that
point, Lawson was nearly out of reach, so Creamer
settled in and held onto the sixth spot till the
checkered flag.
In the second moto, Creamer was in the number
six spot in the first lap, which he maintained
for nearly the entire moto before passing Bryd
in the final laps to move up into the top 5. Creamer's
6-5 finishes were good enough to land him sixth
place overall, and look for Creamer to be back
at the Budd Creek's Nataional before the beginning
of the NEATV-MX Series opener.
