- Ballance Moto X - Pro ATV Race Report
::Continued::
Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chad Wienen was looking
strong in the first half of moto one. Wienen was
in second off the line and was challenging his
teammate for the lead, but started to fall back,
ending moto one in sixth place. In moto two, Wienen
was again in the top five and was battling hard
with teammate Natalie and Suzuki's Dustin Wimmer.

Motoworks
/ Can-Am's Chad Wienen just missed the
Podium with a 4th Overall, but he put
on a great show in Moto 2 as he worked
his way past both Yamaha's Thomas Brown
& Suzuki's Dustin Wimmer to take the
third spot
|
In the final three laps, the action between Wienen
and Wimmer was intense as they were tire to tire
and neither one was about to give up. Wienen eventually
slipped by Wimmer and despite a lot of pressure
from the champ, Wienen was able to hold on to
finish moto two in third place, giving him fourth
overall for the day.

Yamaha's
Thomas Brown rounded out the Top 5 after
two solid Motos |
Yamaha’s Thomas Brown put on a strong performance
as he came off the line in the top ten and battled
with Jeremie Warnia before he would work his way
into the number five position before crossing
the finish line. In moto two, Brown once again
came on strong, taking third in the holeshot,
where he held off Natalie, Wienen and Wimmer for
several laps before falling back to fifth place.
Thomas Brown’s consistent performance in
both motos puts him in fifth overall for the day.
Baldwin Motorsport’s Josh Upperman was
in the top five off the line and holding strong
in moto one. Upperman came under pressure from
Dustin Wimmer at the midway point and the battle
ensued as the pair ran closely for several laps
before Upperman would fall back to finish in the
number four spot. In moto two, Upperman would
get off to a little slower start, but he would
stay consistent to take sixth at the end of moto
two, giving him sixth overall for the day.

down and claimed a tenth place finish. In moto

to move through the pack and claim a seventh place
finish, which also put him in seventh overall
for the day.
