Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area Adventure Ride Part 2

Sand Hollow State Park OHV Area Adventure Ride Part 2
::Continued::

We followed the road signs that lead us in the direction of the preserved dinosaur tracks.

Sand Hollow State Park
A parking lot is located at the dinosaur tracks in Sand Hollow State Park for vehicles. Once parked it is just a short work to the dinosaur tracks

Once we arrived at the dinosaur tracks, we parked our rides in a fenced off area. The BLM roped off an area for vehicles to park, as you have to walk a short distance back to the tracks. The dinosaur tracks date back millions of years and where preserved in what was – at the time – mud.  It was neat seeing a part of accent history preserved in such a wild landscape, and it made it even more exciting being able to ride to it!

Uncovered after million of years are dinosaur tracks located at Sand Hollow State Park

After we checked out the dinosaur tracks and Fort Pearce, we made our way back into the Sand Hollow valley to do some more driving in the many sand washes. As the sun began to set, we started to head back to the Fasst Co. Facility, but it wasn’t without getting in as driving as one could have in the scenic Sand Hollow State Park OHV area valley.

Sand Hollow State Park
Sand Hollow State Park is one of our favorite riding / driving destinations because of its diverse terrain & beautiful landscape

We had a blast exploring Sand Hollow State Park OHV area and we cannot thank Dax Snow and Fasst Co. enough for their hospitality. We hope to return to Sand Hollow State Park soon as it is now one of our favorite riding destinations!
