When we arrived at Brimstone, there were plenty
of vehicles available. Kawasaki has released
four different versions of the Teryx four-seater.
There is the Teryx 4 750 4x4, which is the base
model, the 750 4x4 EPS, the 750 4x4 EPS Camo
and the 750 4x4 EPS LE, which was the unit we
would test out first.
|
Kawasaki
had a fleet of Teryx4 750 models prepped
for our test ride with the standard Teryx4
750, Teryx4 750 EPS & Teryx4 750 EPS
LE models available to drive |
The Teryx4 750 4x4 line has aggressive styling
and looks sharp and comes in four different
color options. We really like the appearance
of these machines, but the true question was;
would the Teryx 4 750 4x4 perform as good as
it looks?

|
We
were really impressed with the Kawasaki
Teryx4 750 door design with easy to access
latching door handles, and the doors provide
plenty of room to enter & exit the
Teryx4. Also, the EPS LE models come with
colored body panels, which really adds
to the look of the Teryx4 |
We were a little skeptical at first, considering
the location and the type of vehicle, but once
we got out on the trails, we were quite impressed
by the agility of the Teryx 4 750 4x4 EPS LE.
What makes the Teryx 4x4 seem so nimble is that
the wheel base of Teryx 4x4 is only two inches
wider and ten inches longer than the standard
Teryx and is actually a shorter wheel base than
the Polaris RZR4, allowing the Teryx 4 a tighter
turning radius than any of its four-seated competitors.
We were able to navigate tight trails that we
never thought would be possible in a four-seater
unit, much less a normal two-seater. The shorter
wheel base and the addition of power steering,
made the Teryx seem more like driving a car than
a UTV. The steering was effortless and performed
well even in the roughest terrain and tightest
turns. We felt we could have driven the Teryx
4 750 4x4 EPS LE all day long and not been fatigued.

The Kawasaki Teryx4 comes stock with Maxxis
Bighorn tires, which work extremely well
on SxS vehicles |
The excellent suspension of the Teryx4 750
4x4 EPS LE also added to the great handling
of this machine. The LE model comes with fully
adjustable front and rear shocks, providing
7.8 inches of travel in the front and 8.3 inches
in the rear, making for a very smooth and plush
ride. The Maxxis Bighorn Tires that our unit
was equipped with provided excellent traction
and stability and seemed to be a perfect fit
for the vehicle.
We were also additionally impressed with the
ground clearance of this UTV. Kawasaki states
that it has 10.8 inches of clearance and it
is right on the money. While other manufacturer’s
models can sag quite a bit when fully loaded,
reducing valuable ground clearance, the Teryx
4 750 4x4 has minimal sag, providing excellent
clearance even when fully loaded with four adults.

The
Kawasaki Teryx4 750 offers 10.8"
of ground clearance, which really showed
itself on the trails as we went over several
rocks & stumps that I thought for
sure we would have hit, but instead the
Teryx4 passed over without any impact |
