Huntsville, Tennessee - Less
than a month ago, the 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 750
4x4 UTV was announced at the Kawasaki dealershow
in Florida, which added Kawasaki to the list of
SxS / UTV manufacturers adding four seat recreational
vehicles to their model lineup.
Kawasaki’s target market for the Teryx
4 750 4x4 is of course, families with children,
hunters who need room for friends, and just
the general population, who like to recreate
in groups and are looking to use just one vehicle.
While some four seat Side-by-Sides are not necessarily
performance inspired, the Kawasaki Teryx4 750
4x4 line is sure to please anyone who is looking
for a good balance between function and performance.

Soon after the release of the 2012 Kawasaki
Teryx 4 Seater, Kawasaki began sending out invitations
to the media to test ride the Teryx4. Thankfully,
ATVriders.com was lucky enough to attend with
thanks to ATV Rider Magazine.

Brimstone Recreational Area in Huntsville,
Tennessee recently held their annual SxS
Round-Up & King of the Mountain race on Labor Day weekend, which attracts
thousands of ATV & SxS enthusiast
every year |
After looking at the specs and reading the
product descriptions, we were pretty anxious
to see how these new models stacked up against
the competition, and this week were given the
opportunity to tag along for a test ride at
none other than the Brimstone Recreational Area,
which is one of our favorite trail systems for
ATV riding east of the Mississippi river, but
isn’t a place we would necessarily think
of testing a vehicle as large as a four seater
UTV.
For those unfamiliar with the Brimstone Recreational
Area, it is a trail system in northeast Tennessee
that sits on over 19,000 acres and offers over
300 miles of trails. The terrain of Brimstone
varies, with tight technical trails, high speed
gravel roads, plenty of elevation changes, hill
climbs, water crossings, and if it has rained,
plenty of mud.

nearly all the trails are wide enough
for SxS vehicles including the Teryx4
750 |
While you would not usually think of taking
a a four-seater side-by-side out on the trails
at a place like Brimstone, that is exactly where
the folks at Kawasaki wanted to be. It was soon
explained to us that Brimstone was chosen for
a reason and that reason being, that Kawasaki
wanted to show the amazing handling capabilities
of the Teryx4 750 4x4 and that it was perfectly
capable of handling the toughest and tightest
trails.
