In Part four of our Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 UTV / SxS build we add some styling and protection to our ride with the help of a Custom Graphics Kit from Santor Design Co. printed by Spider Graphix and a Bumper, and half-windshield from Pro Armor.

In Part three of our Kawsaki Teryx 750 4x4 UTV / SxS build we add a little horsepower to the side-by-side and get a better sound out of our machine with a Motoworks SR4 full exhaust system.

In
Part two of our Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 UTV / SxS
build we upgrade to aftermarket tires and wheels
from DWT. This tire and wheel combination not
only added a more aggressive look to the UTV but
it also improved the overall handling of the Kawasaki
Teryx 750.

After
being invited out to the Kawasaki Intro at Paradise
Off-Road Park in Kentucky, I was immediately hooked
on UTVs. Before the Kawasaki ride, I had only
driven a Kawasaki Mule, so getting a chance to
drive a Kawasaki Teryx 750 4x4 was a whole new
experience because comparing the Kawasaki Mule
to the Kawasaki Teryx 750 is like comparing a
cargo van to a sports car. |

In
anticipation of our 2011 racing season, we were
offered the chance to try out the new cross country
based tire from Maxxis on our project Yamaha YFZ
450X. At first glance, I could tell they had indeed
been paying attention to what the top racers in
the GNCC series had been doing to their own tires
as the tread pattern now almost mimicked the custom
grooving found throughout the pits of the countries
top racers.

Houser racing seems to always offer up products that feature something either a step ahead of the industry or bring to market new ideas in their products that serve function as well as form. We received a set of their new "Pro Bounce" nerf bars to use on our 2010 Yamaha YFZ450X and were pretty excited to see if they preformed as they were advertised which is a tall order then you read the sales hype Houser uses to promote these new nerfs!

McClure’s 2009 Yamaha YFZ450 GNCC Pro ATV
Build |
For the 2009 GNCC racing
series I decided I would be racing a Yamaha YFZ
450 ATV. I chose to race the older YFZ, not the
new YFZ450R, because there is already a ton of aftermarket
parts available, and also since it has been proven
at all types of racing over the past few years.
I would like to give you some insight on what I
did to make my YFZ450 race ready. |

Yamaha Raptor 250 ATV Project Build Review |
When Yamaha released the Raptor 250 Sport ATV in late 2007, it quickly became the leader among the class of its sub 300cc counterparts with features that are typically only found in larger displacement ATV models, so we decided it would be the perfect machine for competing among the youth ranks in cross county and motocross racing for our young rider. |

The Kawasaki KFX 450R ATV has been earning respect
on the track and trail as a potent package in stock
form that meets the needs of many riders today.
Ofcourse if you are a racer at heart or just want
to build your self one bully of a machine, it is
an excellent starting platform for one to turn into
a beast. |

With
the arrival of the New Year, every racer knows that
time is running out on getting their new race quads
finished. All of a sudden it is the week before
your first race and you are nowhere near ready.
It seems like it happens to me every year, and I
especially this year. For 2009, I plan on racing
the GNCC series and the WORCS series. This means
I have to build two full race bikes, and also that
I needed one done by the middle of January because
that is when WORCS starts! |

To help us accomplish our goal, we sought the assistance of several well respected ATV aftermarket shops with extensive Honda 450R experience and the help of GNCC Pro Rider Andy Lagzdins to share his race proven experience on what it takes to build the ultimate woods machine |
